Very horrible, thousands died.

They say kids were put in barrels with spikes, and the parents had to roll them around.

I've just bordered my room with any ghost or demon proof material imaginable.

I had a read up on it, and you’re right.

And we thought the Nazis were bad. Those poor people. Imagine the torture endured before bringing yourself to roll your kids around in those barrels.

That is very cool I must say.
If you like creepy things come over to my house.....Previous owner killed his wife and himself not ten feet from me......
I refuse to go upstairs and have been hearing odd sounds since 3AM.
So little to no sleep and freaked out ATM.

From Wikipediauring the Second World War, the castle was used as an army barracks. During this time, much of the decorative wood is said to have been stripped out and burned by the soldiers billeted there. After the war, the castle began to fall into disrepair. Lead had been removed from the roof, resulting in extensive weather damage to large parts of the building.

I imagine the water from the rooftop was captured for drinking water and the early tenants became as mad as a hatter, due to the high lead content in the water.
