It's very unequal, in favor of women.

Who registers for the draft?

But I'm pretty sure there is nothing in the Constitution about a draft, so isn't that is a statutory question, not a Constitutional one?

It does allow for calling into service the State Militias, but those are regulated by State Constitutions.

For example, in Georgia, it defines the organized militias (State Guard, etc), and then has a catch-all called the unorganized militia, which is defined at O.C.G.A. § 38-2-3 (d):

"Subject to such exemptions from military duty as are created by the laws of the United States, the unorganized militia shall consist of all able-bodied male residents of the state between the ages of 17 and 45 who are not serving in any force of the organized militia or who are not on the state reserve list or the state retired list and who are, or who have declared their intention to become, citizens of the United States."

So, the State could easily just change this law to include women, no Constitutional amendment required.

This would be a great way to guarantee the Democrats lose. It is bad enough she is a communist, but the fact that she is so stupid helps even more.

Shhhhhh. Never interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake.

Don't worry. She's a lock because we're all "scared" of her because she says stupid stuff like this all the time.

Who have they got? They were talking about it on FOX last night and they have twice as many people right now who are either declared or thinking about running than they had Republican candidates in the last election. This thing is going to be a total brawl.

Meh, there's plenty of verbal gaffes from former, and sitting, elected officials that are far worse.

She's referring to Article II Section 1 which begins as follows...

"The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:"

The, "No Person except a natural born Citizen..." qualifications-portion of Article II Section 1 is about half way through after it already establishes the "he" and "his" in the first line.

That said, I'm glad she's not 35. SMH
