And further
You now know the fbi used a document provided by a foreign spy, paid for by Hillary’s team, sources by kremlin officials, and unverified to spy on trumps campaign
Instead of deflecting to republican not charging any crimes here
The question is, are you ok with this?
yes. I'm aware of all this.
I'm not questioning the legality of the warrant or how the dossier was acquired .
what boggles my mind is why nearly 3 years in, and when trump was at the height of his popularity, a red house and Senate at the time, why wasn't ther more inquiries into this?
do we know more than actual government officials?
the dossier was obtained via an ex spy, warrant issued without verification, trump towers even possibly wiretapped.... yet Muller had 0 (zero) Republicans even attempt to shut down the investigation.... so much so the then AG gracefully bowed out of the whole thing.
you're smart to pinpoint the warrant may not have been legal, yet these simple clue droplets seem to escape you...
now dont you think there are much much more that really went on between the trump campaign and possible foreign government debauchery...??

“I think I’ve dealt with warrants where you just identify that your primary [confidential informant], or primary source, has subsources, and so long as the court is aware of that phenomenon and that you’re speaking to the reliability of the primary source, to my mind, that’s a totally legit warrant application,” he said.

So when did Steele ever claim this stuff was true? Last I checked Steele said it was unverified and never claimed any of it was true. So assuming we go with Comey and say this is normal ... the Primary source said this stuff may all be made up. So your reliable source says don't trust it, should he not have done exactly that?

What makes you think Republicans really care about Trump? Trump is not really one of them. In fact this research was started by Republicans and then passed on to Hillary.

I'll address you if you can have a discussion without insults.
you have no point to make... so ad hominem and insults
and oh yea "deep state".... selective "deep state"...
when it seemed like it was smooth sailing for trump, you were on the "winning" bandwagon... I guess there weren't any "deep state " then...

oh dont sing that tune now....
the rallies, the "maga" the nationalism, please....
it's the same excuse... they weren't really with us if things go sour...
James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director whose firing by Mr. Trump prompted the appointment of a special counsel to oversee the Justice Department’s Russia investigation, received a copy of the memos after Election Day from Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona.
well if it was unverified, then there should not have been a warrant issued. period.

No disguising anything. Comey says the warrant was based on the trust of the source and their word. The source said the dossier was completely unverified and may all be lies. Those are the facts. I doubt the FBI told the court that their source did not even have any faith in this. It sounds like from Comey they said this is unverified but comes from a very trusted source, and left out the part about the trusted source saying they can't confirm a single thing.
Comey knowingly handed the FISA judge a turd and told him it was a baked potato.

well I guess we're all forked.
we have a potentially illegal investigation, potentially illegal dealings by trump's camp, and apparently no one in the government can see through the smoke screen and take action....
were no better than most 3rd world countries...

Then if the FBI is that far gone, god knows how far gone the other more private alphabet agencies are which should be leading all of us to quesiton many things in our govt.
