I'm not questioning the legality of the warrant or how the dossier was acquired .

what boggles my mind is why nearly 3 years in, and when trump was at the height of his popularity, a red house and Senate at the time, why wasn't ther more inquiries into this?

do we know more than actual government officials?
the dossier was obtained via an ex spy, warrant issued without verification, trump towers even possibly wiretapped.... yet Muller had 0 (zero) Republicans even attempt to shut down the investigation.... so much so the then AG gracefully bowed out of the whole thing.

You aren't new here, you know the "shadow government"/"Deep State"/"NWO", whatever you want to call it, has been discussed for eons. And in the past, it wasn't proven, just a theory. Today, it's kind of silly to deny it. I don't know why or how Trump was allowed to take this as far as he did, but it's clear, that wasn't supposed to happen.

When you look at all the factors against Trump, you (at least I) can't help but notice there are plenty of them and they are organized. I get you don't like him. I don't either, but he's the president. It baffles me that you and the other haters turn a blind eye to all this in your face corruption, just because it's against Trump. Jesus, in the past, this site would be all over stuff like this, but today, partisan blow holes seem to run the show.

No disguising anything. Comey says the warrant was based on the trust of the source and their word. The source said the dossier was completely unverified and may all be lies. Those are the facts. I doubt the FBI told the court that their source did not even have any faith in this. It sounds like from Comey they said this is unverified but comes from a very trusted source, and left out the part about the trusted source saying they can't confirm a single thing.

...and now you understand why the Dems are fighting to keep the unredacted FISA warrant from being declassified. Because total declas will make it clear that this is exactly what happened, and Comey knowingly handed the FISA judge a turd and told him it was a baked potato.

The investigation was about them committing crimes colluding with Russians

None of them have been charged with that

Every charge has been process crimes or crimes well before the 2016 election

We shall see, but it looks like mueller is not going to find any crimes involving Russian collusion

These are the same crimes that just about every politician in Washington could be tried for

I have for two years been arguing corrupt intel and investigative agencies were a far bigger deal than any of these alleged individual crimes

Now it’s thrown right in our face;

And Schumer told us why politicians allow this; you don’t mess with the intelligentsia because they will find ways to get you

That is the real crime that needs investigated

I would say most republicans view trump as a useful tool to help maintain some control, and thats about as far as their like goes.

If they feel his popularity has fallen far enough they wont hesitate to impeach him when the democrats bring the stuff forward.

Also I think we may be forked cause the FBI appears to be far more corrupt than many people thought... (raiding the whistle blowers house despite the "protection" his status as a whistle blower is supposed to give him)

Then if the FBI is that far gone, god knows how far gone the other more private alphabet agencies are which should be leading all of us to quesiton many things in our govt.
