and, I posted a quote from a newsource above on this page....
when it came to testifying under oath, he couldn't say for sure that it was fields because of the tainted windows and the time stamps really didn't match up!!!
follow that link and you will find a link to many of the court docs and such I believe.

yous are complaining that the guy couldn't get a fair trial because of all the media coverage, and yet, yous are using your preferred coverage of the event yourselves to tell your version of the story.
according to testimony fields drove up once and then decided to back away partway up the street. he then sat there awhile checking his gps... the videos I have seen show the car at that point with no one around it!!! it wasn't till it became obvious what his intentions were that people started banging on his car. then, after he hit a bunch of people, he managed to drag his bumper back off that street...
so, why couldn't he have drove his car back off that street to begin with???

goo.gl...

meme posted online by fields some time before charlottesville might give us a clue...

Good. Justice was served. If only a person could actually be charged with domestic terrorism in this country as well.

The amount of people still sticking up for this Nazi piece of trash is absolutely disgusting.

Have to admit that I'm surprised by SOME of this outcome. For example, I think it was pretty clear that had he 'stopped at an accident', the crowd would have ripped him apart.

About all the other parts, fair play.

After reading about this in more detail, the guy deserves to rot in prison.
He drove hundreds of miles out of his way to look for a confrontation and found it.
We know this because sent a meme to his mom of a car driving into a crowd of people.

He also did a brake stand, reving up the engine and aiming for the crowd of people.

He is another nut that needs to be locked away with the other nuts shooting up schools, bars and concerts.

Murder convictions are inevitable when a person drives into a crowd and someone gets killed.

But not inevitable when a person shoots into a crowd and kills a girl walking next to her father.

Funny that

(Kate Steinle, remember that one? Seems ok for a ‘not guilty’ verdict when it’s a certain type of person and a certain type of jury)

If an anti gun nut drove into a crowd of armed pro second amendment protesters, then I would hope he would rot in prison at best and even support one of the protesters shooting the driver in defense.

If someone had shot fields as he accelerated, it may have saved some lives.

What I find odd about the ones that support the Nazi Types is, they say Hitler and his regime were socialists but it is not the liberals that are the pro nazis.

This guy had pictures of Hitler and Nazi artifacts where he lived.

I'm guessing it's life for the murder charge and the other 419 years is the combined max sentence of the other charges.

that's just what the jury recommended, the judge is the one to make the final decision.
he could decide to let fields serve the time concurrently, which would then probably be just life in prison, which I am not sure if that is able to be reduced via parole.

I will say this, I think the defense screwed up a tad here. during the trial, they mentioned that fields had mental health issues but never brought in a professional to substantiate that claim. during the sentencing phase they brought in a psychologist you said that he was bi-polar and I am not sure what else. can't help but wonder what kind of meds he was on. could they have suppressed his inhibitions enough that he would have just said screw it and fulfilled the fantasy he seemed to be expressing in some of the mimes he posted.

Yeah I realized that I had glanced at a poorly titled article and had thought it was the actual sentence, thanks for straightening me out. Not to mention he still has possible federal hate crime charges that could be brought against him which could get him the death penalty.
