Sts-88 twentieth anniversary of launch -- FIRST US mission to build the space station.
As a 'trajectory guy', I have always claimed that the hardest work was pre-launch, designing the orbit, especially the unsung drama of how it would be -- or NOT be -- aligned with the orbit of Mir. Here's how I described it in my 2002 book.
