F35 position / Pylon 6

Hi Guys and Girls,

With the advances of technology with position / pylon 6 always be the home of the gun or could a different system or recon pod be mounted onto pylon 6?

If so what would you like to see? Lasers? Drone dispenser? a very large shotgun! '-)

I’d say with the F35 being shoved into so many roles the gun pod would be omitted to carry more specialized pods if for example in a electonoc attack configuration. One interesting theoretical use of the pylon I personally think would be nifty is a companion drone for SEAD missions a drone that can replicate the radar signature of a nice inviting target to draw SAM sites into going active on their radars and launching while the 35 zeros in on the installation.
