The Perfect Storm.

Well, i do not want to go through all the new requirements for an ATSNN story, but at the same time I want people to know about this, just in case they don't know yet which might not be true. Anyways everything is right for a big storm to develop which will probably cause heavy snowfall by next week among other problems. People should be prepared in the areas of the country which are about to be affected by this storm.

This graphic is a little more scientific showing the reasons behind the impending big storm. A cold polar jet stream and a moist southern jet stream will collide head on Sunday triggering storm development over the Gulf states. The storm will move quickly northward through the Atlantic states Monday, getting all the way to New England Tuesday. The exact path of the storm will determine who gets the most snow this time. The next AccuWeather.com headline will show the options.

No sense knowing that a big storm is coming if you don`t know when it is going to start. This graphic gives some idea when we believe the storm will begin at various locations from Kentucky northward. If you are worried about stocking up on groceries before the roads get bad, you still have plenty of time. The daylight period of Sunday should pass without any heavy snow anywhere, though there may be a couple of inches across parts of the Midwest by Sunday night. Monday and Monday night is when the storm will dump a lot of snow on the East.

Yeah i'm just waiting to see them issue a winter storm watch for here. i live about 2 miles south of the rotting pool of detroit. Can't waite to see how this all turns out. Where do for a big snow storm here, it's been years sence we had a big one
