They were made as non-military nuclear devices for mining but were repurposed for skyscraper demolitions.

Can you cite a source? What records are used to ensure it is maintained safely and its integrity. What government inspections are required like for boiler systems. In Illinois a boiler technician needs a boiler license. What type of licenses is issued for technicians to install and maintain building destruct systems?

the explosion is set so the top of the sphere created in the rock by the blast, just breaks the floor of the basement (7 storeys)
this is at the end of the blast, ~12 secs in, the shockwave has a range which turned out to be a little too small.
the shockwave pulverises the building and everything in it.
it does not travel thru air.
the hole begins to suck (because its now a vacuum).
there is leakage from the top of the pit but they waited till it cooled down and sealed it.

it was a trick to make the defence system pull the towers.
the pentagon hit was not supposed to be live , just to trick them into downing the towers.

They wanted to nuke the ionosphere and the moon out of curiosity.

You think a 1 KT nuke would make them bat an eye?
