While today will go down in history as the date of George HW Bush's funeral it also marks another event. As far as I'm aware this will mark the first time the 45th iteration of the Presidents' Club has convened.

For those that don't know, the Presidents' Club is arguably the most exclusive club in the world. As of today it boasts a membership of only five men: Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump. The living US Presidents.

These meetings are always interesting because they give us a look at how these men view one another. For awhile now the comraderie among these men has been strong. The notable exception has been Carter, who comes across as a bit of an outcast. Probably due to the fact that he has no problem publicly expressing his criticism of the other men.

This will be the first time since Trump was elected that he will meet with all the men at once. It will be interesting to see how things go for him.

Up until the election the Trumps and the Clintons were very friendly with each other. Now, at least in the media, there appears to be no love lost.

Trump's criticisms of Obama are well documented. Since being elected Obama has had no issue criticizing Trump. Yet one of the last times these men met then-President Obama ended up clearing his schedule so he could answer any questions Trump had about the presidency.

Bush is notorious for keeping his opinion on Presidents, past and present, to himself. This may be one of the reasons he hasn't drawn Trump's ire. And yet, Bush has made some remarks in interviews that could be perceived as covert criticisms of Trump.

Then there's Carter. He's been the oldest living President since 2006 when Gerald Ford died. At least for the past few administrations he has had no problem expressing his criticism of the President to the media. So far though he has been fairly quiet during Trump's tenure.

So will Trump be welcomed in to the core group? Well he seek an ally in the outcast, Carter? Or will he find himself all alone?

Also love how he boasted that under his administration, oil companies did well. He is supposed to be the globalist poster child for environmentalism, hypocritical "political correctness" and all-around charismatic choir boy....

"My administration is the only recent administration with no indictments". Has anyone heard his recent interviews? He really loves himself... but he has the elites supporting his image, so of course that helps with the ego-stroking
