Reclused in hibernation mode, the stars of galaxies passed by in blurs of streaking colour. Thousands of planets flashed across sensors with the speed of photons released from supernovae.

Life? Negative. Life? Negative.

A blue planet appeared with the suddenness of a galaxy collapsing.

Life? Positive.

Awakening. We are home.

Very cool Kandinsky, and loved the visual as well.

How can such a 'compact' story be so engaging? It's both unique and interesting while instilling curiosity about what direction it will take. Seeing "a blue planet appeared" sort of gives you goose bumps.

Excellent. (or as you brits say "brill".)

Big thanks for the positive comments and an even bigger thanks to Gordy for coming up with the 50 word idea. It's been great reading all the entries and makes me proud to be an ATSer amongst so much creativity.

How long did it take you to write?

(Serious face, 1000 yard stare) A lifetime friend...a lifetime.

Joking aside, I enjoyed it a lot and remain relieved that others enjoyed it too.

@727Sky - Thanks!

Nice soundtrack. Makes we want to hear Wishbone Ash's Argus.

The album is based on Methuselah's Children, but with hippies instead of Howards. Robert had gotten tired of hippies, wouldn't endorse it.

I really like your story.

I was going to DL it and give it a go on the way to work. Pirate Bay is down so it will have to wait.

I really like your story.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
