He was not responsible for the death of JFK. His friend at the time couldn't say the same, and as the released papers even showed that at the time he was concerned that his friend did the killing. If he was responsible for killing JFK, then why would he be concerned that his friend did it?

I'm not saying that his hands are clean, but I will say that he did a good job trying to clean them of the dirt. Hence my point that now that he has passed, the path of freeing up the many things he was involved in might be open for review.

You didnt have to agree with their policies or dicisions, but they still had family and friends......they were still fathers, etc......

I set up his PC for a meeting between him and the then Australian Prime Minister, Paul Keating in Double Bay, Sydney way back in 1991.

Apparently he liked playing Microsoft Golf.



I did get some souvenirs out of the meeting but I wasn't impressed as much by either Bush or Keating, as I was by Barry Jones - a very scientifically and politically astute guy (we were all discussing a report that someone tried to sell some ex-Soviet plutonium in Rome, but we went off in a tangent when Barry found out I had nearly had a job at Lucas Heights reactor for ANSTO and had worked in defense).

... and the US Secret Service guys were exactly like in the movies and TV, gorillas in suits with earpieces and Ray-bans (worn inside).



Still, Bush was the Prez. He seemed to be a serious and kindly old guy with too much weight on his shoulders.
