Creeping taxes on everything else.

End tax theft.

Pay up idiots.

You are punished for productivity.

Something I can definitely praise.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but we still need to get control of federal spending.

Just calling a spade a spade. Low taxes are great an all, but until we address spending, debt will continue to balloon.

So the richer you are, the more tax you pay.

As has always been the case.

The tax system is antiquated, I doubt anyone could argue that effectively.

But rather than present a problem, present a solution.

Consumption tax, you pay based off of what you put strain on.

Why should everyone pay a flat rate for roads if some of us drive 2 miles to work vs someone who has a company that has a line haul fleet?

Pretty sure income tax is illegal and was never ratified.

Just surrounded by a buch of retarded sheep chanting death and taxes are unavoidable, while one actually is.

It's not even needed gor a gov that prints the gd fake money to begin with.

It's only value is after the labor is paid by it.

While we live our limited life and a sh!tbag gang of scheming, non-working politicians line their pockets with the latest and greatest wealth redistribution schemes.

This topic makes me want to crack some skulls.

Especially since the constitution protected us from this bs.

Now look, over half your energy is sucked up by gd leeches.

It's no longer the people's gov.

This is proof and it's a gd travesty.

We might as well start a new currency, they have rigged it to the core.

If you tax something, you get less of it. Do you want growth to stall? None of this matters if we stop growing. We can't pay tomorrow's borrowed money with less people.

That what fuel tax does.
The more you use the more you pay.
Sales tax works that way to.

In other words, get on welfare and be punished for success.

I loved the new bs Pasco county Florida passed. 1600 dollar increase to my property taxes because "the cops said they needed it"

This value based tax is bs.

You're correct.

I should have expanded more. Get rid of income tax and overhaul consumption tax.

Our infrastructure is estimated to be 5~ trillion in disrepair. Anyone familiar with the construction industry knows you could close to double that figure.

My point is, we can effectively do a better job at taxing people based off of what they consume from the mix.

This would benefit everyone, you could change lifestyle to save money going to government and put less strain on the system.

Yup, and you can't stop growing debt by decreasing taxes while increasing spending.

It is absolutely criminal that anyone is paying more than 10% of their income in taxes. It is a shame that the American people let this sh*t ride for so long.

Of course, we all know too that those tax brackets don't really tell the whole story because almost 50% of people pay no federal income tax. In fact, the lowest brackets are getting negative tax rates (getting money in excess of what they are taxed from government).

It's funny how people complain about income tax in the US but dont realize that countries like Denmark are paying 60% tax rate.

Different worlds for sure

I think our roads seriously need to be addressed, more specifically bridges. That's not too far off from Trump's campaign platform on infrastructure.

Aside from that, let's be honest, I'm one person, an armchair commentator like the rest. I don't have all the answers.

That said I think it's common sense to say our current taxation system is critically flawed. Exhibit A is the nation's debt.... Exhibit B is what we get for the debt, hemmoraging money with problems piling up.
