Does anyone think it odd the police didnt have handcuff keys?

I could pick a handcuff lock with a crusty lock of hair (don't ask how I made it). I think they just asked her if she wanted assistance, and asked the corporation if they wanted her gone. Both apparently declined.

So what is your solution? Put big government in charge of businesses and let them dictate how they are run?

Would you be for people having the freedom to rape?

Why would I ever be for the freedom to censor?

WHEN have I ever been for any type of censorship?

Censorship is the utter denial of different ideas. It is cowardice.

You are one of the only people I know on ATS that calls it like it is but in this instance it seems you are calling for more gubment to step in on private companies. If people don’t like what or how they operate then they can just leave. Simple as that man.

Nope.

Nope.

I have been consistent in NOT having government step in because having government in charge of free expression is about as bad as it could get.

Am I seriously going to have to cite antitrust laws in detail? Please don't make me do that, I'm much too lazy. There is a legal case for both sides of this. It'd be kinda interesting to watch it play out, in my opinion. Running your own business doesn't mean you have free reign, there is a lot of precedent. Ask AT&T.

Plus, public accommodation might eventually come into play.

Exactly. There is more to this than people just saying "stop complaining". Yet, I haven't seen a real discussion on the topic. There are real issues and laws at play here.

Ok good, a little consistency, that's refreshing.

How do you feel about Trump using it constantly and bringing millions of users in every day to this so-called "leftist and anti-semite" business?

I find it amusing only because he pisses off so many people with it.

Hell, Trump could use any platform to express himself and I'd be okay with that.

I wish there were more platforms available.

There are plenty of platforms already. Maybe Trump should boycott Twitter, until then I don't think his supporters have any room to bash Twitter even a little bit.

Wrong.

I can bash anything I like.

I enjoy the content of the messages Trump sends, just not a big fan of his stationary.

Could you name a viable competitive platform?

ETA: Serious question.

For three (3) hours, that poor girl!
What a mighty protest.
What kind of terrors she must have endured these whole three hours!

Seriously that was pathetic and completely useless.

Individual #1 might be impressed but not many people else.

no

because the police DO have handcuff keys

however - its very easy to full the keyhole with epoxy cpd - and they can still be closed

and keys no longer work

simples

PS - thats just one straight forward solution [ and one used by environment protestors

certain antiquiue and foreign handcuffs do not use the " std " key

how do all of you arguing against "blatant censorship" feel about bots and hell-tier trolls? i mean the sort that are all spam and commenting on people's posts with photos of gore and so on?
how do you feel about that sort of account getting banned real quick here?
where we draw the line is clearly something that's going to be discussed and shifted to death for probably as long as there's an internet, but surely you agree that there has to be at least some sort of bar one must clear, just to keep a site usable?

True but it was so pathetic it proved beyond doubt she's only interested in attention than any moral cause. I've taken longer #s.

If she was that cold and committed she should have self imolated.
