On a separate issue here, were his victims white women ? if so this is being over looked.

Here are Tennessee's reported victims:

Black female, age 25, killed in 1975 in Knoxville: Unmatched confession
Black female between 28-29, killed in 1984. Victim picked up in Memphis, killed in West Memphis, Arkansas: Unmatched confession
Black female between 25-30, killed in 1980 or 1981. Picked up in Chattanooga, killed in Dade County, Georgia: Confession matched to a Jane Doe

12 years. Better late than never, but that is so depressing.

I can't only imagine the impact this has on people coming forward. The crime is back enough to live through let alone a 12 year rollercoaster to follow.



The absolute most crappy part of the whole thing was: The (V)-victim was a real good friend of a fellow Officer. The other Officer met Us at the hospital when I transported Her there for testing/treatment/evidence collection. The other Officer was sadly killed-in-action and wasn't aware that the (V) was successful in Prosecuting the TURD/Rapist.
