LMAO!
It's okay to have a cup of tea at the pub and read the paper!
Only a quid, nice to sit in the pub and enjoy banter while sober sometimes.

Rather have a coffee myself. But do like reading a paper in quiet pub. ( only time I do buy a physical paper now)
Mug of builders tea is my choice, and the pub has free newspapers as well, I never buy one.
I never cook either because all meals are £2.50, Real sliced gammon, egg, chips and peas is my fave, but the chicken roast is fantastic...all £2.50.

Only time I have been in Cornwall was Padstow which was slightly pricier...
Backstreet non tourist pub, the landlord owns tourist pubs ripping them off £25 minimum meals and subsidises the backstreet pub for us locals. He never works the tourist pubs, he's a shady local himself.
EDIT
I got my first BJ in Padstow when I was 14, park bench on a hill above the harbour.

Mate the Gorbals and Las Vegas are the only two places where you can get sex for chips.

We've gone well off topic lmao!

On-topic, I reckon there will be a general election in January which Labour/SNP will win and form a coalition government.
What happens after that # knows.

Think a general election could go anyway as would be totally dominated by brexit.

Post Farage UKIP have gone full on racist mental.

Torys are hopelessly divided.

Lib Dems still irrelevant.

Labour have Corbyn.

SNP have lost post Indy referendum shine.

who knows what would happen.

You must know that Scotland is the biggest export from the SW of England for Buckie.
...it's been made in Ireland for many years now though, but Scotland remains the biggest export for alcoholics.

Oh aye i ken that just fine.

Back in the day we used to go into the offies and ask for two bottles of "what you looking at" aka Buckie. LoL

You do somewhat lose the taste for it as the world spins all the same, nowadays i much prefer simple Vodka, Grey Goose, when i can get my paws on it, or short of that, Smirnoff black label wets my whistle.

With the price of booze up here, all the same, the alkies will be back on the meth and milk soon enough. LoL

Side story, Buckfast Abbey had a boarding school, my mate got sexually abused by the monks and beat the # out of one when he bumped into him at Plymouth train station as an adult. He didn't even get a caution, the cops knew what the monk did.
...and those bastards still make money with their tonic wine which only alcoholics drink...#ing scum.

You want a good drinks tour go to cornishes neck of the woods and visit the Heally Cider Farm. Most generous place I have been for tastings ( could barely walk by time to leave).

Closer to home Arran distillery is excellent.

Not been to Arran in ages either, always plan to take the weans, but generally end up in the likes of Rothesay or Arisaig. Need to keep that in mind.

Heally rocks mate, most local brewers are the same, but Buckfast is a tale of child sexual abuse, I'll never buy it.
