Yeah but keep in mind, we could have invaded Japan but we chose the less costly option. Haven't had trouble with them in a while. An unused weapon is a useless weapon. Catastrophic events inspire change. Bring it down and be done with it, it will be cheaper in the long run. We'd be buying ourselves a good 50 or 60 years of domestic tranquility after the blood is washed away. The longer we citizens wait the fight becomes more difficult, if they can be taken down quickly and we can write the history books at a later time.
