I can't wait to see what comes next!
Back in the late 70's, the schools actually taught me that the sun, the wind, and something else (maybe currents) made weather cycles here on earth, that were constantly changing.
Now scientists are teaching me that it is all humans fault that the weather cycles are changing.
That's about 40 years difference.
I might not make it for the next go around, I'll be in my late 80's.
Maybe I will freeze to death? Oh wait, I think I mean burn up. Can't keep it straight.

99% of scientists are wrong, and every conservative on the internet has all of the answers.

The number you are looking for is actually .6%.

.6% of the scientists who originally were polled ended up responding "yes" to AGW.

So... use .6% from now on and you will look like you are informed about the topic, at least.

Alternately, you could use 99.4% of scientists do NOT believe in AGW.

If you want to keep using the 99% number.

I don't have any tigers in my backyard. Therefore tigers do not exist.

Is that the reasoning here?

Everything isn't black and white. Climate change is both a normal event over time and mankind has begun to effect changes as well.

A little from column A, a little from column B.

Jesus Christ.

Ping me when you can back that up, Hoss.

Wait. Hold up.

Are you the dude who was in charge of all the polling numbers during the 2016 election?

Huh, imagine that ... record cold doesn't debunk MMGW, but every summer when someone has record warmth somewhere, it totally proves it.

You noticed that, too?

I'm working on a theory... "The Day After Tomorrow" was recently showing on cable TV. I'm correlating the number of threads about Global Warming versus how many times that movie shows during the last month. The odds for a correlation look good so far.

Hey, I'm down with a little of both, but that is not what I am being yelled at. It's all me.

As I have stated many, many times. I am all for cleaning up the mess we have made of this planet, because we have. Way too much trash.

But I also think the earth is going to survive us.
She may get to her limit, and annihilate us, in one fell swoop, but that will be her doing, not ours.

No doubt the earth will survive us. It did just fine for 4 billions years or so without us. Hell, the only reason we are here is because horrible calamities have happened.

I guess my thing is, even though we aren't the sole cause of climate change, we should at least try to do what we can to keep it from being so abrupt and catastrophic for us and all the other species we rely upon to survive.

We're on the same page, you and I, I think.

How, exactly, does being taxed help "fix" global warming?

The Doran paper has been criticised by many sceptics in the past, where a survey of 10,256 with 3146 respondents was whittled down to 75 out of 77 “expert” ‘active climate researchers’ (ACR) to give the 97% figure, based on just two very simplistic (shallow) questions that even the majority of sceptics might agree with.

75 is what percent of 10,256? There is your real number.

Linky 1

Or even better... 97 articles Refuting the "97% consensus"

Honestly, at this point anyone who uses the "97% of scientists agree" quote are just willfully ignorant.

Because the debunk is everywhere.

Well, duh... it's science! If we tax carbon dioxide, the little carbon dioxide thingys can't do what they want to do anymore and they'll all sit home and behave... and stuff.

Next thing we know, you'll be saying that Brawndo don't have electrolytes that plants crave!

global warming leads to ice age!!!!

Eventually it does
Ask any true scientist
The last ice age was a mini ice age 26000 years ago
Covered N. America in 2 feet of ice down to the area where Dallas , Tx. is today.
The cause ?
Carbon Dioxide build up prior

I didn't say it did.

If I had to take a wild stab at it though, I'd say that worrying about how much money something costs would be a more immediate concern for corporations than how much they pollute. So if you can't appeal to their humanity, you appeal to their pocket book. They find a cheaper way to provide energy without paying as much tax, presumably in renewable sources.

Fake news, Sport!

Source it where 99% of scientists think that man-made climate change is a fact.

Doooo it.

Do it.

*snaps fingers*

Chop-chop.

Most analyses I can find put it above 90%. Search for yourself. Anything I post will be #FAKENEWZ

You do realize that the carbon dioxide built up after.
You know, not enough flora to convert it to oxygen...
It isn't a hard concept to grasp.

Actually, the increase in carbon dioxide caused by that helped warm the planet back up.

But let's not deal in facts, right?

I'm guessing you are a fan of Gore's hockey stick too.

You may want to check your browser... it seems that you have the liberal fact filter turned on.

97 articles refuting the 97% consensus.

Since you can't seem to ever refute my posts to you or the articles or the facts or anything else regarding your careful research into AGW.

Do some research
There was a CO 2 build up prior .
The percentage of CO2 rose greatly and temps fell "overnight"
It was the plants that brought the CO2 levels back down to a relatively good level.
Vegetation took off
