I don't think IQ has much to do with it. There are plenty of scientists and geniuses who subscribe to some really stupid political ideas.

Because if you spend your time dealing only in theory like they do, socialism and communism look very good on paper. The problem is that in practice, they never will work, not while we have human nature mixed in at any level.

Think about it. Believe me, I have. If every one of us did work as hard as we could and we were capable of sharing what we produced fully with one another as needed ... but there will always be those who slack off, those who fall prey to addictions and reasons why they just can't work that maybe aren't fully the truth.

Those who hold back and those tasked with making sure everyone has a fair share who maybe take advantage of that trust in various ways.

We won't actually come close to fully realizing anything like what's on paper and in theory until He returns and takes us in His hand.

Actually, even on paper if you were to read, and understand what will happen if "socialism, or communism is implemented", you wold realize that both systems would only destroy the economy of a nation, and would suppress the rights of people because the state would have total power and control over people's lives.

As for people taking advantage. There will always be such people unfortunately.

You always need some mechanism to deal with corruption, nepotism, cronyism. At the highest levels, you can have national and local elections, maybe vote for the head of police, social services and education, the school board. For lower levels, there are complaints departments and internal affairs.
