I enjoyed the first two stories. Got kinda bored through the third one and stopped paying attention after that. Also not really a fan of totally digital backdrops and such. Makes me feel like i'm watching a long video game cutscene. I watched this after trying that red dead redemption game. It reminded me too much of watching a cutscene from that game or something.

It wasn't totally digital. I worked on the show, Background/extra, shot almost in my back yard.
btw, corporate netflix just moved here.

Yeah you could see the parts that weren't I appreciated those. That wasn't really why I didn't like the movie though. I just got bored. The story that started with the owl on the branch or whatever just dragged on and I was done with it.

Started off great but then descended into weirdness and then I started to lose interest.

Maybe worth watching again sometime but I was disappointed after the awesome beginning.

James Franco: "First time huh?"

That was f#cking funny.

Watched the first 4 "stories" this evening.

*POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT*

The first two had that great tongue in cheek/ dark humor vibe that I love from the Cohen bros. However, they were more humorous than serious.

Then comes the third story....

*DEFINTE SPOILER ALERT*

What the last two stories lack in darkness is quickly made up for.

When the wagon comes to a stop at that bridge and qui-gon jinn gets out to assess the area, I thought he was going to slip and fall, leaving his companion to rot and die in the snowstorm....

Then he picks up that rock and it hits me, what's about to happen.

2 hours of absolute crud.
It wasn’t a movie, it was a bunch of short stories who’s only connection was they were set in the Wild West.

A good “movie” for people with attention spans of 20 min or less
