You should feel lucky it is just for appendicitis that you are in Emergency and not a auto accident or worse

This will certainly not happen in her case:

When I went in for an appendectomy at age 19 (worst non post-op pain I've experienced sent me to ER), I didn't expect the conversation I had with my surgeon when the anesthesia wore off and I finally woke up enough to be coherent:

He said, "I have some good news and some bad news: the good news is your appendix was fine, we took it out anyway. The bad news is, you have Crohn's Disease." I had never heard of CD, so it was pretty scary for me and life has been a struggle ever since then.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope your daughter's appendix is NOT fine!
