Box Jelly is certainly the most painful, but is it the worst?

I thought pound for pound the blue ringed octopus was the most poisonous.

The blue comes in 4th.

Box jelly
King cobra
Marbled cone snail
Blue ringed
.
.

Automobiles are deadlier.

:p

You haven't been bitten by one!

Of course I went to the doctor. I mentioned what the doctor said in the OP.

I've had them on me and they never bit me. I think this one was in the arm of a coat or jacket. The wound is currently 1 3/4" diameter. It is oozing which the doctor's office said was a good sign. If it didn't ooze on its own, the doctor would lance it when I go in for my HBOT.

My husband has been bitten twice by brown recluse (we coexisted with them, as they are near impossible to be rid of in our last rental). The first one left a scar, second one was treated with young living “purification” oil. It healed great and left no scar.

My daughter was bit by something past summer (not sure what because it was a painless bite and only noticed a few days later). It got rough looking, and I used multiple treatments to aid it’s healing. Purification oil, epsom salt soaks, lavender oil, oregano oil, minced garlic, plantain and even honey. It healed very quickly and cleanly. We kept it very clean and I watched it like a hawk.

Good luck and hope it heals well!

If you've been bitten by a browner recluse or similar spider you will know it. It won't heal. Sort of like rattle snake venom it dissolves your tissue.

Cure

Break open an Aloe Vera leave and hold the open area against the bite. It will draw out or maybe neutralize the poison and will then heal.

Update:

The wound specialist that I was sent to says a spider bite is possible but he thinks it is cellulitis with a skin abscess. What it was is healing but has a way to go. I've finished my antibiotics and have been using silver (aquacell). The redness has been greatly reduced. The dead flesh will still have to come off though.

That looks brutal..hope it gets better.

Along those lines has anyone watched Coyote Peterson's Brave Wilderness channel on YouTube were he goes through the pain levels of the Sting Pain Index?

He has videos for a cow killer, bullet ant, tarantula hawk, giant hornet , warrior wasp and others.
