We have LGBT & disabled & seniors going back to work, etc.

I just have to ask... why do you put LGBT in with disabled and seniors?

Asking for a woman friend...

People are people. Why are you dividing them?

To be fair , isnt LGBT dividing people by sexual orientation? seems a bit hypocritical?

I mean if people are people, why should they be divided by sex, sexual orientation or age?

I was pointing out that you are.

That was you, sweety.

And I know why you are.. as a good little SJW you are trying very hard to save the people that you have put into little labeled boxes.

Do a favor for the actual LGBT people out there...

Don't "stand" up for us.

We are doing quire well without you, thank you very much.

We need to get to the point where we don't care about this stuff and we can simply agree or disagree, with respect and love, and work together to move America forward.

I don't need to agree with a person to love them and work with them.

The alternative is identity politics where we focus on it and see how it divides us and break into our groups and fight each other.

This is at least the second time you've told me to leave LGBT out of my discussion.

NO

Do you even know what the Louise Hay Ride is?

I do, I was there.

It's been a long hard fight for equality.

Because we have been lumped into the "sexual deviant" box.

So although we are all different people with entirely different things going on, it is a convenient label.

Like "other."

So now LGBT is all about aids/hiv to you.

Because... equality?

/facepalm.

The reason I brought it up in the first place is that you are a rather embarrassing spokesperson for something you are not.

But keep up with the stupidity, I guess... I'll just leave you and your little crusade alone from now on.

Thread I read earlier was calling for a purge of every single Conservative. If you did not vote D you should be killed.

Way to interpret putting your own twisted spin on it.

I owe you nothing.

I owe my personal friends everything.

Rant away.

But those thing you list are not qualifications for a job.

Being older or being LGBT or being a woman, etc., doesn't make you better at your job. You're either good at it or you aren't. The best person for a job should be doing it. Those things you list are cosmetic at best. We have a team of three graphic designers in my are at work. One of them happens to be lesbian. Guess what? That had nothing to do with why she was hired. She was hired because she happened to be qualified, and she is no better or worse than the other two straight graphic designers on the team.

She just happened to be the best qualified at the time, so she got the job. Her sexual orientation was incidental, not a feature on her resume.

I didn't say they did.

I did say I'm 72 and have personally experienced how things have changed over the many years.

Being LGBT would have made a difference in my timeline.

So as a Bi person I'm "twisted" now?

Not a rant sweety... just pointing out that you are indeed an embarrassment as a spokesperson for someone like myself.

It's the intolerance part of it, you see... mixed with your hypocrisy.

Hint... all it does is makes us look bad... so you're not really helping the actual cause as much as politicizing it to the point that it harms us.

All so you can feel better about yourself.

But there is no reason to announce it, just like there is no reason to announce that you're straight.

I never went into my job interview and announced my sexual orientation. I don't talk about it now either for that matter. It's not something I really do while at work, and the finer points of grammar don't lend themselves to discussing my domestic life.

However, it does make a difference in the hiring process because of diversity where it shouldn't. Did you miss the part where he mentioned the experiment they ran?

They wanted to see how much hiring bias there was. They took a batch of resumes and put them to the hiring process to see which ones employers selected. Then they took the same ones and assigned them random male and female names that didn't necessarily match the sex of the person who wrote it. They figured if there was no bias, employers would selected the same resumes as before. If there was male bias, then male named resumes would be selected more often even if they weren't the ones selected previously as best.

They did find bias, but it was actually in favor of the female named resumes which they assumed meant employers were that sensitive to not appearing sexist or wanting to appear diverse that they chose more female resumes where they felt they could.

Brilliant defense of equal under the law and equal treatment by government. To address inequality by forcing one segment to pay to advance another segment requires unequal application of the law. It is the virus that once in the system allows for continuous degradation to advance "social justice".

It is immoral, unethical and requires use of force to achieve it's goals.
Some call it unconstitutional others call it just plain evil.
Mostly it's called Socialism.

Excellent Thread.
I am pleased to read that more and more
people are intellectually slicing and dicing this
SCAM. This wicked scheme targets the less educated
and forlorn with any means necessary to increase the
voting base. The whole "Social Justice" movement is
a false prophet and diversion.

For example, notice the political elites as of late escaping
prosecution? The media distracts from that and attempts to
turn people on each other. "Divide and Conquer" in full force.

There is only "Blind Justice" where we are ALL EQUAL UNDER THE LAW,
or there is "piece meal" justice that will be applied ideologically and
corruptly. The latter suits the puppet masters.
Two sets of rules will not suffice.

NO ONE IS EQUAL IF WE ARE NOT ALL EQUAL UNDER THE LAW.

Realize because we have become so isolated as individuals that many will jump at the chance to feel like part of a group, to feel a sense of purpose and belonging. It's a terrible abuse of protective instincts and empathy as well as to feel connected to a wider community.
