How do we know it didn't? Shouldn't we know?

My question is how would a foreign country possibly know what is contained in a Top Secret document from a Secret Court?

Just can't seem to figure an answer to that simple question.

Because they provided it. So was it incidentally collected or targeted.

This is even more pathetic coming from the UK after learning that Obama spied on them through Snowden's leaks. You'd think that they would have the sense not to get involved.

The US was spying on all our allies under Obama and likely before that too.

Then we act outraged in typical hypocrite fashion.

Yep he needs to reclassify all of it then prosecute Obama and all the clowns in his administration they did same if not worse stuff than nixon did at watergate yet democraps want you to beleive that was just fine. Russia did not meddle in the 2016 election obama working through british mi-6 proxies did. Why do they still claim they didnt wire tap trump campeign still when we know they did because of fisa warrants on carter page?

Haha this is great.

Trump gets spied on via the five eyes agreement, they found absolutely nothing, muller has found nothing leading to collusion between Russia and trump. Mullers investigation will only show that the us used fe to spy on trump to get around the legalities and will expose the people behind the spying. Is this why it's taken so long for muller to present his findings? Because his been backed into a corner and the only way for him to get out is to conclude there was no collusion and that the UK was behind the "extremely loose" evidence that this whole thing has been based on. And in turn goes all the way back to Obama and Hillary. Hahaha

So, the British are spying on Republicans because they want to suck up with Democrats? Do the Democrats have the UK BSed too? Evidently the UK just had some rogue people but they did not want it to tarnish their reputation.

They are leaving President Trump no choice but to take off his gloves.

The deep state has divided America, and just like Lincoln, the President must make the decision to either let it split, or keep it together.

This is a question to any on ATS who cares to answer.

Let it split?

or

Keep it together?

Not entirely true. It is the Globalists. Europe is a globalist society, and they wanted the U.S. to be one also. The Globalists in the U.S. are helping them. Globalists are banks, Conglomerates, Corporations, and a lot of Politicians.

Do the Democrats have the UK BSed too?

No. Both deepstate spy networks had the same goal.

Evidently the UK just had some rogue people but they did not want it to tarnish their reputation.

I take it you didn't hear about how the U.K. government feels about President Trump. Youtube it. They seem as if they wouldn't hesitate to spy on him.

Yes. The British establishment that hates Brexit, hates Trump. It's been working full tilt to subvert both since the start. This establishment firmly believe Britain should be a euro province and has been working steadily in that goal for 50 years.

It is indeed globalism/nationalism. The US/UK people both say national interest first. The establishments say no, globalist interests first.

As far as i understand it, the UK is concerned more about revealing the full dossier because it contains the names of active UK agents. Obviously this would compromise them at the very least.

To all the US members that are fine this, bear in mind we share various intel operations. Would you then be ok with the UK publishing reports that name active US agents, potentially endagering them? I am guessing not.......

Why would active US agents be spying on UK citizens?

What I want to know are the circumstances of how the British got involved and their level of involvement.

We all do it on behalf of our Allies. It circumnavigates pesky domestic laws concerning spying on your own citizens. And when i say we all do it, i mean Western nations, at the request of our Allies. We spy on US, they spy on us, same for Germany, France, etc.

Ethically / morally it is very wrong. But you can understand why it is practised from an Intelligence viewpoint. Say you have a domestic national that you have suspicions about but your laws dont allow you to spy on them (or it is too sensitive or whatever). You get around this by asking a friendly Intelligence asset from a differing country to investigate - to see if you have any grounds for concern.

Historically speaking, the enemy within is usually the greater threat.

It's against the law both ways. Now context matters, and in the context of spying on political opponents that is a huge scandal.

There was that saying "If Trump wins we all hang" ....

It's legal under the Patriot Act, was done long before then in other names - the UK got word from sources and were monitoring phone lines of Russian agents, during the routine monitoring they picked up cables to people in Trump's camp. All data SIS collect has to be handed over the the US, under RIPA, IPA and DRA, which was done in August 2016 when SIS agents went to the US to brief them on the discoveries.

SIS/UK intel isn't the only nation that warned the US or picked up the links - dozens did (five eyes plus eastern europe) in the months following the UK noticing suspicious activities and are against the exposure. Exposing the names of all US allied agents would cripple the entire intellifence network for decades and stop any nation sharing intel with the US.

The documents are already released bar the name of agents and detailed ins and outs of how the UK spies on Russia or the names and numbers of the various agents they've identified and are monitoring - publishing that info achieves nothing other than getting the trans-atlantic cable shut down and collapse of Western security.

In other words, if we release the info that Obama’s intel agencies were working with the uks intel agencies to spy on Obama’s opponent, western civilization will collapse

Funny how that works huh?

I guess we peons just need to shut up and let these intel agencies do whatever they want , or else we will collapse society

Amd we have to believe them. It’s not like any of these intel agencies have lied before!
