This is sad, my friend. If we, ordinary people, do not find a common language, how will our presidents and prime ministers do it?

I think we ordinary people do have a common language or understanding in that we are ordinary everyday people. It’s only when we get tricked into siding with some opposing group or other that we get conflicts of interest, otherwise we could probably all cooperate for a common goal.

Northrup Grumman and Lockheed Martin are defense industry companies on the government teet, giving tax payers money back to politicians. Nice circle jerk they have going there.

Corruption is part of the social human condition. Eisenhower was right with his warnings of the "undue influence" of war profiteers. Particularly relevant, given his military history.

Today''s model is a vulture's feast for psychopaths where they can attain power and expand on it to the detriment of society and state while only benefiting their own inner circle. They have in turn created more laws that simply make their raping everyone more expedient and "legal".

Oh that legal word. Doesn't mean much in today's world.

Re: Ike's warning...

No better expert than Frank Zappa who said "Government is the entertainment division of the Military Industrial Complex''

How much of there is already too corrupt as it is if not leaking over into the better areas? Maybe it is better to be in the belly of the best, at least you know what to expect.

So, "Can't beat? Join them..." ? That is way too reminiscent of the last Presidential Erection.

Sadly and if only there were enough to beat the corruption. Maybe someday, being hopeful.
