I just scanned our pet cat, it is sleeping. We do not need that expensive pet scanner.

So, funding for the creation of this was paid for by NIH. So, you would think this machine should be reasonable to buy for hospitals. I bet the cost of this scan will be in the neighborhood of twelve grand when you get it done. I am also thinking that it won't be much better since the problem seems to be that things are missed during scans, or people are not looking in the right place. Complain about a pain near your pancrease and they to to take pictures of the apendix or say you may have a gall bladder problem on the other side. I think we got problems with people misdiagnosing things, lack of comprehension by a learning doctor about how to understand side to diagnosis. Upper left side means upper right side, there is some messing up going on with this when interpretting things I feel. People not completely understanding things about this, viewed from the examiners point of view things are reversed.

Scans are useless when our doctor pool continually devolves into something out of Idiocracy. I've lost count of how many times I've been sent for some kind of scan only to have the results sent to a doctor that can't even read it or know what the hell they should be looking for. You have to tirelessly badger your way to a specialist who then sends you to another outside place that runs a "specialized" scan and then you might actually get some help. Thousands of dollars later...

Healthcare is a joke. Which is why I've stopped even trying to get help anymore and am now just waiting to die.

Specialist Ayurvedic doctors have been scanning people for centuries through pulse reading. No need for machines. Our body gives all the signs through our pulse if anything is wrong. I have experienced it in India when on holidays and the diagnosis was spot on. I imagine that instead of using stethoscopes like doctors do now to check sounds, pulse from the body, the ayurvedic doctors rely on the pulse and its rhythm to do their diagnosis.

And anyone can learn it.

Most amazingly, the medecine prescribed is cheap and plant based or can be concocted in the kitchen.

Because a majority of them cheat during college and only care about the money they'll be making while applying for bank ruptcy after they realize being a doctor wasn't worth *ing up people's lives.
