What's crazy is you read my post and somehow thought it was advocating for anything. Your education system must be worse than America's.

I never once stated that circumcision for a legitimate medical reason is unneeded but you stated cleanliness as a reason which is a joke and your sarcasm proves nothing.

I think doing anything to kids that is irreparable and damaging should be illegal.

We could make a law like that, then that law would actually cover sexual mutations too.

So reduction in sti and cancer = cleanliness.

Much like the UK NHS = American rubbish and only the UK NHS should be believed .. even though you didn't believe it when I sourced it.

Keep those jokes coming.

If they want to act they can put off puberty with no surgery needed.

Let people decide for themselves when harm is involved.

Why do discussions about the disgraceful life-changing practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) always slide into the rights and wrongs of the trivial (by comparison) practice of male circumcision.

One involves the removal of the external sex organ of a girl. The other involves removal of the foreskin. If male circumcision involved the removal of the penis I think FGM would be taken more seriously.

One form of FGM is removal of the clitoris hood, it is comparable to circumcision, don't take the holier than thou front.

I don't think that is all that they are doing though...

So, do you agree with removal of clitoris hood or not? I disagree with it.

You stated.....

Easier hygiene. Circumcision makes it simpler to wash the penis.

HIV and STI...

the potential benefits of circumcision for reducing HIV in America are, at best, uncertain. Plus, we need to be mindful of the fact that while circumcision may reduce rates of HIV infection, it doesn't eliminate risk and it's nowhere near as effective as using condoms.

There's also reason to be skeptical that encouraging more circumcisions in the US would meaningfully reduce the STI rate when you look at how we stack up to Europe. In Northern and Western Europe, rates of HIV are lower than they are in the US, despite the fact that most American men are circumcised and most European men are not.

Your the joke here.

I have to agree with that.

In his decision he called it a crime, didn't he?

I think he feels it's up to each state to decide to outlaw this barbarity.

As a religious practice, or cultural, or a barbaric mixture of both, it's about maintain male dominance. A woman should not feel pleasure in the sexual act.

Pure power and domination.

In it's barbaric entirety. That's the only reason it's done.

Unless there is a medical reason I disagree with it, but I do not think that is what most practice.

It was a good ruling because it forced the state to make it illegal. NOW no judge can argue it as its law. Same hing needs to be done with immigration.
