Who is he working good deals with again? Not his own cabinet. Not his own party. Certainly no one across the isle. Not with leaders of other countries. Perhaps with Melania to sit quietly by his side while he cheats on her with x-porn stars... that he can't make a deal with. Them's good deals right there.

Orange man good.

Did Clinton/Kennedy F everything that moved in the white house during their time as President...lol And you all want to jump on something over 10 years BEFORE he was president...

BTW Canada/Mexico deal is done, we win
EU deal done, we win
Japan/Korea deals done, we win...

Are you that thick headed in all this?

Exactly right. It's like loosing your queen in a chess match, you can still win but it gets more unlikely.

We have also managed to not have to deplete our own natural resources by using theirs through a willing partnership.

Why any rational person would want us to pull out of the Middle East is beyond me.

On a whole 'nother level, I'd like to see us out of the Middle East, but that's just because I think it's only going to get worse and no one will win when the oil reserve is all radioactive.

So this assassination has got to be the most evidence rich case to have ever existed.

All provided by Turkey.

Is it true that Khashoggi was friends with Bin Laden?

We know he has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and various pro-Palestinian groups. I wonder if we'd even know who he was if he wasn't working for WashPo. Wait, What was it about WashPo, Bezos, and the CIA?

Hmmmmm.

You tRump supporters desperately need to put your hopes on someone else. Your unconditional support for an illiterate, egomaniac, will surely be the downfall of the republican party. Wasn't the midterms enough for you to see this.

Criticism of Trump is surprisingly taboo here, considering how many free-thinkers are running through the ATS halls.

It's the law of diminishing returns in action... when you have folks stupid enough to say "Trump is literally Hitler," idiotic enough to say he's going to portend the Antichrist, and loony tunes enough to treat an offhanded, off color comment as being akin to physical sexual assault, you tend to just flat out reject things hilly-nilly. Put it to you this way, in the Boy Who Cried Wolf, was it the fault of the townspeople who had been fooled enough times that they didn't belief the boy when there really was a wolf coming, or was it the snot nosed little prick who kept crying about imaginary wolves' fault that nobody believed him and his word was no longer worth jack squat among the townsfolk?

Hysteria ruins any argument. You are correct. Challenging questions, asking for evidence and sarcasm are great, but I cringe when I see all-out freak outs from the left. Or the right. Just can't take it seriously.

Hope I'm not causing thread drift.

Back to the issue at hand: I don't agree with Trump's actions with this. The easy answers are Iran and gas prices, but I'm going to have to do more reading on Kushner. Yes, he's the conspiracy I smell in all this. Orange Man has been persuaded of something by Rich Boy.

Dude, Trump has leveled massive trade tariffs on Chinese goods, big tariffs on his allies in Europes goods, tariffs on Canadian goods. That has thrown the world economy into disarray already.

Don't you think it at all weird he didn't blink to throw tarriffs onto China/Europe/Canada/Mexico, but when it comes to Saudi Arabia he's on his knees gobbling the crown princes dick?

Very uncouth... you ever thought this IS the deal? Trump works deals and seems to be doing rather well in his efforts...

The Saudi's Will OWE the President Big Time on the World Stage for taking this Stance among Major Criticism from All those A Hole Pundits out there who see him as somehow " Weak " on Foreign Relations . This is a Big Opportunity for him to Pressure the Saudi's to Do HIS Bidding now . Money Talks , and B.S. Walks as Always here ..........

Leftists could give a good god-damn about any journalist.

This is just an opportunity to attack Trump.

Of course it is. I would argue it isn't even about Kashoggi, but because Trump didn't say what they wanted him to say, that he didn't do the virtue signal dance in front of the entire world. I mean, read the OP.

If virtues aren't a valid basis of criticism in this case, what is? Increasing profits? Making sure Kushner and MBS maintain their giddy hand-holding?

We all *should* be critical of our politicians. All of them. The ones we oppose and the ones we voted for.

It is a valid criticism. That's why the perpetrators were sanctioned by the administration for their wrong doing. However, it isn't a valid basis for throwing away a valuable ally and breaking multi-billion arms deals.

I think the end game after oil is no longer needed is a lot of tourist destinations surrounded by third world hell holes and whatever Iran can swoop in to take after. Western tourism is likely their next source of income.

I read a few articles talking about SA moving in the direction of becoming a top tourist destination. I believe that is the goal as they know the oil reserves are rapidly being depleted. I personally would love to go but ya know money and what not.
I was actually thinking of going early next year but instead already got me some cruise tickets. So that trip to the Middle East will just have to wait.

Spanky? As in Spanky from the Little Rascals? Jesus, it's wonderful to see our elder citizens using technology and maintaining external contact via the web. Amazing times indeed.

It's Macauly Culkin.
