Hola mate, apologies for the delay but I bookmarked the vid.

Really does seem the authorities were very intrigued by the Desverges case although how the main witness was treated (and reputation ruined) after the incident was pretty disgraceful - Professor Swords certainly knows his stuff and even though it hasn't been updated in a while that blog really is a wealth of UFO info.

Desverges"s 'burned eyes' aspect also popped up again like in so many other incidents such as the Kentucky Stanford , A11 Gary Wood, Val Johnson, Carl Higdon and Robert Taylor cases - it's also listed in this catalogue of physiological effects along with quite a few other examples.

When it comes to OBOLs have you looked into the recent work of Ted Phillips in Marley Woods - seems they're all experiencing quite a lot of activity with all sorts of behaviour (and colour types).

So there's possibly a connection with Flatwoods to another case. Here’s a pretty balanced and fair piece from History.Com on Scoutmaster Desverges and his encounter. A somewhat shakier premise but also some interesting evidentiary items:

Dolan goes into quite some detail about 'evidentary items' in the Desverges case here mate - also mentions other witnesses and photographs confiscated by the USAF.
