I think it just means to not be a pushover when it comes to loving and preaching God in Jesus’s Name. The sword, symbolic of disagreements, which are inevitable when you speak Truth that others don’t want.
(I’m actually trying/starting to learn... Does Jesus call for violence? I can’t recall, and I feel like I should doubt it... If so, where, please.)

Then at least discourse explanations
between scripture.

Explain your choices of scripture,
and parallel this with our current time line
and events.

The goodness and treachery of mankind has
changed very little in the past 2000 years,
but technology has advanced in its
dark magical ways far faster than one can
escape its pitful grasp.

biblehub.com...

Aramaic Matthew 10:35

www.studylight.org...

Read Chapter 9 and 10 for context.

It is laden with difficulty and painful.
And thus, a challenge for the mind and spirit of the true.

(ETA: Thanks for the links.) Laden with difficulty and painful, ok, but there’s not a call for violence. Imo. Willing to discuss.

(Am I misunderstanding you/something?)

And of course that kind of thing must vary according to the needs of the topic. You can ckeck my previous 278 Theology threads to see how that works.
The themes are drawn from scripture, and so the scriptures are chosen to illustrate or support the point being made.
I don't normally find current events and technology very relevant, except when they can offer helpful analogies (e.g. "rules for crossing the road" as an illustration of the way laws should be treated).

Its funny seems like anytime someone makes a Christian post.
or anything with the name of jesus people just want to attack every aspect of it they can.

They are just scared! that's all

You may be right. But it used to be a lot worse than this, until people stopped feeding the trolls.

And a merry Chrsitmas to you too.
This series should reach an important point at Christmas, and then continue into the New Year.
