North Korea says it has tested ‘ultramodern tactical weapon’

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un observed the successful test of “a newly developed ultramodern tactical weapon,” the nation’s state media reported Friday, though it didn’t describe what sort of weapon it was.

It didn’t appear to be a nuclear or missile-related test, a string of which last year had many fearing war before the North turned to engagement and diplomacy early this year. Still, any mention of weapons testing could influence the direction of currently stalled diplomacy between Washington and Pyongyang that’s meant to rid the North of its nuclear weapons.

So, nobody knows what the super-secret mega-weapon is, but it sounds like tubby means business.

Recently we had news of some 20 secret testing and development sites found, confirmed by our analysts, and now the news of new and unknown weapons being developed.

Precursor to a larger conflict in the area? Were all of the negotiations an act?

A few years ago we had nothing to do with North Korea. Now, after almost failed negotiations and escalating rhetoric, we could be on the verge of something much worse.

Do you really care if NK has a cool new missle, they haven’t attacked another country in 50+ years.

I mean, a couple of years ago we had nothing to do with NK because we had a "leader" that didn't know what to say because all he knew how to do was apologize for our nation.

Now we are at least in talks, have not given a damn thing in return and we'll see where it goes.

I'm assuming that this is the left's idea of once again hoping that Trump starts a nuclear war?

So he is trying to use a page out of dads playbook, guess he hasn't realized Trump is not Bill. No I don't think this will lead to conflict until some sort of actionable intelligence is available that proves they are a threat.

Those 20 sites aren't new and are short to medium range missiles. South Korea's Moon was unphased by the "news".

The ultra tactical weapon is probably light bulbs for anywhere not the capital.
