I'm a bit ambivalent about "cause," simply because its tricky (at best). But, there are some serious "coincidences" here that, if true, are
mind-bogglingly (heh) problematic.
Historically, I have been very outspoken about Agenda 21/30. I feel it is a speartip of what I would consider a major offensive.
Many are sold on it because of the feel good language they use. Coupled with the societal move to place utmost importance on how something is said
(rather than actual acts, meaning, full context, etc.), this creates a very difficult situation.
When it comes down to it, one can only hope there exists people on these levels of society who oppose these plans. Simply because there ARE better
ways that benefit even those at that top level, more than the current feudalistic, myopic approach. They have been at it so long that their plans are
almost innately obsolete right off the bat.
As a sidenote, when I worked for the forest service (fantastic job, btw), the ever persistent thorn in our side were environmentalists. The combo of
passionate idealistic drive with near complete ignorance is a helluva thing.. especially when it ends up dictating policy and procedure.
