Remember the super important invasion Trump was worried about? Neither does he.

Real men don't use words, they act.

...said the guy who thinks bombing Soros is actually a good idea, and had the audacity to post words with that meaning on my favorite conspiracy board.

We don't need a bunch of homeless squatters coming in this country, we've got enough of those already.

Ah, the subhumans are projecting their subhuman qualities onto "the others" again. Our better people have spoken, winning hearts and minds whilst they do!

Is that why Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen expected to leave by end of year? Because he doesn't remember?

According to an administration official, the president has been frustrated by what he views as Nielsen's lackluster performance on immigration enforcement.

If terrorists were in the caravan, who would know? Don't they just blend in until they get their signal ?
How can you vet so many people in a situation like that? I'm just wondering.....do we really know who was in there ?

I'm sure it's probably been mentioned but if Trump decides to do so, he can suspend Habeas Corpus in the event of an invasion. He has chosen to use that word to keep that option available if the need arises. If he chooses to do so, those troops will be there already and serve a different role altogether. I appreciate that he chose his words carefully enough not to limit his options.

[The Suspension Clause of the United States Constitution specifically included the English common law procedure in Article One, Section 9, clause 2, which demands that "The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it."]

So you think he handled it by sending 6000 troops to the border to do what? Put up tents and string wire?

To deal with, by the Pentagon's estimate, 1,400 people. Unarmed and seeking asylum.

Doesn't seem cost effective to me. But the president said do it, so they got's to do it.

Think it is time Hawaii gets a couple mill South Americans sent there..a good steady stream of 3 months tops...move on into wherever they want..and make sure noone ask them who they are..or what they want..

I am sure everyone will be super happy to accomodate.

Geez, the Great Leader even made those brown people secure their own fence whilst sitting on it!

4D chess excellence. Also, you saw the 15K soldiers in caravan-refugee-fatigues? Of course you didn't, this military is exceptionally invisible. Amazing!

Just like any politician, Trump needed to get a bunch of ignorant people to care enough to go out and vote. That caravan is pretty good talking point. You can bash him for it, but the stakes were high.

Funny it seems Mexico agrees with Trump and thinks the caravans is an invasion. The Mayor of Tijuana wants them deported from Mexico. You have Mexican residents protesting to have them removed but some how people think Trump made this up and the caravans arent a threat. Watch what happens next there will be clashes between the migrants and Mexicans trying to get them removed from the country.

Tijuana mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum criticized the recent arrivals, describing some as “bums.” He said a consultation would be held on whether the city, which lies some 17 miles (27 km) across the border from San Diego, California, should have to continue receiving the migrants. In an interview with Milenio television, Gastelum complained that migrants had been hostile to local authorities and that the federal government had failed to control its southern border when the caravan of people began entering Mexico on Oct. 19. “Tijuana is now in a serious predicament,” he said late on Thursday, noting that road blocks could be considered to stop more migrants from getting into the city. “It’s not fair.”

He's from the PAN, the 'conservative' party. You'd have a point there if he wasn't, eventually, but a rightwing circlejerk around their favorite scapegoat isn't exactly news.
Makes me wonder what made ATSliens gobble up political talk as if it was the whole truth, sprinkled with hard facts.

migrants had been hostile to local authorities

Oh noes! They didn't pay off and bribe this corrupt Nanny State like the Cartel criminals do? Don't say so!

the federal government had failed to control its southern border when the caravan of people began entering Mexico

Rule numero uno: it's always someone elses fault.
Rule numero dos: they need a wall to protect their southern border!

Whats his name again, el Trumpo?

I'm just trying to explain why there was so much talk about it before the election, and then not so much. Maybe Mexico should have thought about that before they let the people in...

Agents assigned to the Laredo South Border Patrol Station came upon a group of four suspected illegal immigrants while patrolling near Masterson Road in Laredo, Texas, on Saturday. The agents conducted interviews as part of Laredo Sector line watch operations. The questioning revealed the four young men were Bangladeshi nationals, according to Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials. The following morning, Laredo South Station agents carrying out line watch operations came upon another group of two suspected illegal immigrants walking near Oleander Street in Laredo. An interview with the subjects revealed the young men to also be Bangladeshi who were smuggled into the U.S., officials reported.

Consider the source, It's the blind leading the blind. It's amazing how clueless some are, regardless of the wealth of information available to them, they choose to ignore it, even when it's right in front of their faces.

Good Tweet from President Trump today, pointing out FAKE news vs. REAL news, regarding the migrants at our border.
