There is no known source of this information, any that may exist are unknown to me and therefore a summary and my take on it are not possible.

Evidence corporations are the new government. My own thoughts.


Corporations operate at the local and global level thereby heavily influencing national and global policy.

Corporations control energy thereby controlling its availability and use.

Corporations control the development and use of technology, thereby heavily influencing what technology is in use, how the economy is structured and how it operates.

Corporations control the generation of finance, thereby exerting extensive control over its availability and application.

Corporations control the media thereby exercising extensive control over what the masses see, hear, read and therefore what they know and thereby what they think.

Corporations control the production, availability and quality of food and water thereby exerting extensive control over the heath of whole populations of people.

Corporations control health care and medicine thereby exercising extensive control over the health or otherwise of entire nations and regions.

Corporations control smart meter technology thereby heavily control the behavior of households in ways the corporations desire. Smart meters enable corporations to punish individual households without impacting neighbours or the whole street.

Corporations are self interested therefore they hold self-centered objectives.

Corporations are unelected and therefore wield unelected self interested power.

Corporate power determines national and international policy thereby rendering national governments to mere implementers of corporate defined policy.
Corporate power has relegated government power to 2IC status

It's already known. From living in cities in Scotland, it was the banks that told the council what to do. If they wanted to relocate their offices to the green belt, they got special permission. In turn the councils and Scottish Executive would tell high street shops and small businesses what to do (one company I worked for was told not to promote anyone any further and have a Fresh Talent initiative). Of course, that just drove those workers to emigrate. That rule still stands today.

There are lobbyists in Washington that pressure senators to make particular decisions in favour of their industry. Net neutrality is one issue. Privacy and encryption vs. law enforcement backdoors on personal computing devices is another.

The EU economy is driven by Germany. The whole idea of the Euro was to stabilize currency markets so that speculators wouldn't simply move their investments into Deutchmarks to ride out a financial storm in some other country. Every time the investors did this, German export contracts would be cancelled due to the increase in cost. There were the Libor and currency exchange rate scandals, where rates were "fixed" to benefit particular parties.

Corporations have been movers and shaker for centuries...it's not even remotely a recent phenomenon.

East India Company ruled entire countries and sub continents. Standard Oil. The list is way too close to endless.

There was a book written by Robert Heinlein that explored this very subject. The title was Friday. Great book.

In it there were, supposedly, a myriad of company's controlling a rather dark and dystopian Earth. But in reality it is controlled by one massive conglomerate called the Shipstone Company.

Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction, but sometimes fiction is the truth of the matter. Or something like that.
