Nothing lasts forever

This is the most comforting true statement, nothing lasts forever. No matter what you are going through how dark the times ahead seem to be, it will pass. You will be happy again some day.

The same is true if you are just full of joy and want to scream it from roof tops. Remember: nothing lasts forever. Embrace it. It will pass.

That's my sunday thinker for you all. The word of wisdom, the only one I feel is big enough to share with you. Time will move on and so will you.

I have a long list of sayings and phrases that I like to draw on from day to day. Philosophers, thinkers, revolutionaries, scientists etc from all civilisations and from all times and creeds have left us some powerful thoughts on which to dwell.

However, surprisingly, the one that seems to sum it all up the best and is the most ‘real’ to me comes from a 20th century musician named Freddy Mercury.

I love Mercury he was deep down a very quiet thoughtful person and nothing really matters is similiar to nothing lasts forever. In the end what will define us is not what matters to us in life.

I just hope my new roof shingles live longer than I do.

"You only miss something when it is gone"

This applies to the days of childhood, innocence and ignorance. After a person "awakens", those days of ignorance will never be repeated.

How do you know that no thing lasts?
If all is passing..... what is it that knows that everything passes? Isn't That always present and aware?
