In the early 1980's a sailor could score '___' that was rumored to have been made on the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy. The story was that someone had set up a drug lab on board to manufacture the drug.
On the ship that I was attached to, the mess specialists were the people to see if you wanted to buy illicit substances. The cooks on my ship would visit the cooks on the JFK.

An aircraft carrier will never be within visual range of "the enemy."

Except for Iranian speedboats and the USS Theodore Roosevelt in March of 2018.

The Reagan is a nuclear powered aircraft carrier. I'm not sure, but I don't think it carries nuclear weapons as a matter of course.

Not sure why this is particularly interesting news. It's not as if some sailors haven't been involved with illicit activities before.

'___' was used in MK Ultra mind control experiments.

'___' isnt the kind of drug one with any drug experience would imagine soldiers would enjoy using while on a Navy ship. Its just not a common choice.

This is why it is of interest. It opens up the mind to all manner of speculation. Were they planning to dose the higher ups and take control of the vessel? Are they spooks undercover conducting a mind control operation? Maybe they wanted to ruin someones carreer by making them act crazy while on duty.

Or, maybe they enjoy tripping out and totally losing all self control when they are in the Navy and will definitely get in big trouble for the slightest missteps. LoL who knows?

Same when I was young. This isn’t Mary Jane or alcohol, where not only is the exp manageable but one isn’t hyper sensitive to environment. This is something much stronger, and where the “set and setting” of the environment has a very powerful impact on the exp.

If one knew they had no duty for a day or 2 you could easily enjoy on a ship..would be exhilarating and mind-blowing.

Probably been done many of times.

yeah but still the setting isn’t a good one I think, excepting maybe the ocean. It’s almost like tripping balls at the police academy. Hellllllll no

A person I know had one of his greatest experiences staring at an electrical box in a cupboard of a block of flats.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. I mean, being on deck would be mind blowing but I doubt that opportunity arises much on down time. Probably be just tripping balls in an otherwise boring room. Anyways I thought I might be wrong about what I've heard and read about drug use in the Navy... Seemingly it is a prevalent thing.

I bet that was one of the worst trips ever.

Not sure if you’ve studied or tried these things, but it’s nothing like other substances. Setting is very predictive or influential on the nature of the trip. This has been described going back decades.

A heavy military setting could easily influence a bad, paranoid trip.

Now, maybe these guys are doing it on shore leave or something.

I've tried the natural form before and done research into it, genuinely changed a lot of things for me over time. It's something I want to try again.

Setting wasn't too much of an issue but with the artificial stuff I'd personally be very careful.

Should've probably mentioned that this guy was panicky at first, couldn't work the door handle. He sat and watched those lights for hours and loved it. So I guess I don't know, potentially I'd assume one could control their surroundings and never know they're even on a ship... Who knows.

I remember you've talked about this subject before
I'll inbox you sometime about it.
