So, Hill.TV ran a poll asking people to vote on which well-known Democrat they want to see run for president in 2020. The choices were Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, and Michael Bloomberg.

The winner of the poll, with 204 votes out of 680 (30%) was...

"None of the Above"

Kamala wouldn't be a bad choice. But as I have said many times before Tulsi Gabbard is who should and most likely will run. Trump should be worried about her.

I hate Kamala Hareis's politics. She is awful. But she's very smart, quick on her feet, plays her game of rabble-rouser well, and she checks all the identity politics boxes they want/need.

She is a viable candidate. Much more so than Hillary or the other names on that list (excepting maybe Biden because the press corp loves him). She's just an awful one.

I just read her bio at Wikipedia and I'd have to agree. And she's got claim to being black & India Indian although she isn't gay. She'd be great at doing to the US what Democrats have succeeded in doing to California! Actually, America, (the coastal elites) deserve a POTUS like her. She's got all the right optics although I can't see that she's anti-business/pro Socialist.

The Democrats only care about power, when Pelosi said "we are Capitalists" I don't believe she has ever told the truth besides that single statement, the facade of "Green-Capitalism" and "Progressiveness" is tired and meaningless, yet these Liberals and Democrats have invested such morality into their political party (same as the right) that they would rather have a corporatist capitalist scum being in charge as long as they pretend to wear 'blue' instead of taking these next four years and actually building a "progressive" SocDem (capitalism light) party ...

now, to be honest, they can all burn, the right, left, and centre

With the recent change in the democrat ''super delegate'' regulation there is a chance to side step the entrenched democrat machine. They now cannot use their super delegate votes until the second ballot. This will allow for a thriving convention where a lesser known, one who has been hidden behind the star power of the famous faces can emerge. All it would take would be a rousing speech and the force of younger liberals to rally the convention delegates to rise up against the ancient democrat machine and elect a candidate by acclamation. Tulsi is one that could be turned to. Here's hoping.

Too young. The higher ups in the DNC don't like her, because she endorsed Sanders, and left her chair on the DNC to work for him. She said something about conflict of interests while stepping down... So she's honest...another strike.

She's an Iraqi war veteran, with the Hawaii NG, two tours. She's very in on Veteran affairs. She's knowledgeable in foreign affairs.

She'd be a very positive figure on a Democratic national ticket...but. The PTB don't like her. As I understand it, and I may be wrong, but the Democratic higher ups wanted someone to run against her. I've no idea whether that's the case or not.

As an independent liberal this makes my heart race for Joy. None of them are Presidential material.

I would personally like to see John Yarmouth run for the Dems.

Tulsi Gabbard is who should

Interesting she was left out.
Wonder why that was.

They don't want an outsider running. They don't want Sanders to run, but just put his name in there to placate people.

Let's be honest, the republican party didn't want Trump to run either. Both parties hate outsiders. Look how they marginalize Ron and Rand Paul. Look how they never work with the libertarians. Look how the Democrats hate the Green Party. Both Parties fear the outsiders.

I don't think she wants to run.

By the way if she is actually honest, she will get zero support from the DNC. They want someone corruptible.

They left out someone that has a good chance of beating Trump.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand

That fact that 80 still answered Hillary is enough to make me want to fashion a noose and carve my name into a wood beam.

Personally, I really like None's policies for immigration and the economy.....although they are a little weak on national defense.

I only hope they select Ida Know as Vice President.

She's mixed up in the NXIVM sex cult business. (The one that kept women as sex slaves and branded them.) She might well be under indictment by the time the 2020 elections come around.

Why ever in the world do you keep bringing up Tulsi Gabbard? She may be female, but as far as I know, she's not a married Lesbian and she's not black. She's got nothing going for her and she doesn't have the necessary PC identifiers. I don't get it. She's not even transgendered or Muslim...........without all that she barely qualifies as an American!

Literally everything you just mentioned has NOTHING to do with being a good leader. And clearly you know nothing about her. And if you do you are either scared she will run or just ignorant.

The best liberal candidates will never get on the DNC card. The DNC leadership will make sure of that, just like they made sure Sanders didn't make it. They just had a whole trail where it was proven that they rigged the primaries.

If any good candidate like Tulsi Gabbard has aspirations of being Prez she needs to run independent. They wont' even let her win congressinal primary if they can help it now.

I still think that only a Celebrity can beat Trump, He is a celebrity and love him or hate him he has that "presence/ Charisma" Obama had it, Bush Jr had it Reagan had it Bill Clinton had it.

Michelle Obama has the star power to do it, Oprah does, Zuck has name recognition but no personality for the office. How about a double whammy ..Michelle Obama for prez with Tulsi as her VP. That would be a tough ticket for Trump to beat.

AGain, on this thread, we're not talking about policies or how much you hate Obama, we're talking who logically could beat trump.

I am certainly not afraid of her running. Actually, I think she would make the type of POTUS most Americans deserve!
