I don't know why you are focusing on what the woman was doing when in the background by the door the Secret Service guy was getting into a shooting stance over this Acosta issue.

So let's forget for a minute that Acosta attacked a White House aid, and think for a minute what was going on from a security standpoint. A rowdy person was creating an issue in a room with the President of the United States. This person then started to lash out in a violent fashion. Maybe looking at it in this light will allow you to see the issue.

Hey now, we can't be using logic like that.

But to be honest, Acosta was lucky to walk away from that one. He'll be even more lucky if the intern doesn't press charges.

Bonus points for the look on the other reporter's face behind Acosta. "J.F.C, Jim. Just stop so maybe I can get MY question in?"

Knowing CNN they will probably give Acosta his own hour show, or maybe even make him an Executive Producer. In reality Acosta was lucky to get out of there a free man after doing that to the woman.

Thank you for correcting the post.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders DID claim he put her hands on the intern, which did not happen (if people open both the left and the right eye to actually SEE) and Sarah likely the person that pull that pass on advisement from her boss.

Trump never answered the question, he made the reporter the news instead.

Yes he did answer questions. Both of my eyes are open. Did you watch this? Do you see her yanked off center as he increases pressure?

Looks pretty hands-on to me, but hey, keep pimping out the talking points.

It's pretty sickening how CNN stood up for Acosta, as well as him posting on Twitter claiming he never laid a hand on the intern. I've seen the video from a few different angles, and he definitely did, no question. The way I noticed the SS agents starting to react to his outburst, especially when the intern ducked out of the way, I'm surprised Acosta wasn't escorted out in some shiny silver bracelets.

But you're absolutely right. CNN is likely going to be in meetings discussing his raise, promotion, and extended air time first thing in the morning. 10 years ago, I'm sure a so called journalist would be fired and probably be blacklisted by the media for this kind of behavior. Nowadays, it's a promotion, more money, and he's going to be a hero to his viewers. It's about time for a clean up of the media, and get some honest reporters that are only there for the truth, not to push an agenda for ratings.

Yes, I've seen this multiple times. (but not close up, on a loop, and in slow motion, lol)
I didn't hear the part where he said "pardon me ma'am" either.
You're projecting your political views onto what happened. It's understandable, The Pres is a Svengali.

I get it, you see what makes you feel good and right.
Totally normal.

There are no talking points here, they seem to be coming from a podium.

Hey, I remember believing in Sadama Bin Laden of Iraqistan.
I believed what I wanted to believe.

If Trump touched a reporter like that there would be calls for his head. Headline would read...

Oh, yeah. His dismissive "Pardon me, ma'am (,but I'm talking here and not giving up the mic to the likes of you)!"

You've got the true-sight. The rest of us are just delusional. Carry on.

Yeah, but look at the context, he blocks her arm as she's in the middle of trying to grab the microphone from his hands while he's doing his job.

If somebody tries to yank something out of your hands, usually you try and stop them?

And meanwhile we are talking about this, rather than the presidents bizarre childish whining snowflake baby press conference. I mean, that was just a bizarre performance.

Changed the title but continue to push this lame strategy. OK!

www.cnn.com... The revocation of his pass "was done in retaliation for his challenging questions at today's press conference," the statement said. "In an explanation, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders lied. She provided fraudulent accusations and cited an incident that never happened. This unprecedented decision is a threat to our democracy and the country deserves better. Jim Acosta has our full support." Edit: CNN BS!

Quoted for irony.

Projecting political views indeed.

Why not just come out and say it? Lefty types manhandling women is perfectly ok with you.

Unless you murder them... then you have to be in the Senate or something to get away with it.

Theres no reason he should have touched her at all, the mic belongs to the US government, and the NBC reporter was already standing for his questions.

Arsehat for stealing time from colleagues, a scoundrel for touching a lady in a professional setting.

He is just grandstanding. Block him, CNN can send another dork with the same questions in an earpiece from Acosta like Cirano

I don't think trump told her to sit down , he was pointing at Acosta.
She just probably didn't want to get in the way of the argument.
And trump was also right about any news organization that reports lies and opinions as news and truth is an enemy of the people of this country.

You often take things that don't belong to you and refuse to hand them back? Shame on both of you. Most people get past that as toddlers.

Fast or slow, he applies enough force to lower her shoulder. He doesn't just "block" her arm. He applies force to her arm to separate her from the mic. Grossly inappropriate.

Maybe they should go back to planted journalists, asking the "rights questions", just like in the Bush era.

Or like Barbara Starr, asking incredible boring lengthy questions that can take a whoppin' 5 mins, wasting everyones time.
