An elected government official is way more important than a reporter....any reporter.

And here we see the right sell their soul (and everything about their prior beliefs) wholesale. What a sad day in America.

If that reporter was targeting Obama when he was president, or one of his group of white house officials, I would be saying the identical thing. These people are high ranking people in our government, they do not need to be bowing down to a reporter who is rude.

If that reporter were targeting obama then every single person who is defending him today would be screaming “racist” with every breath

All through history in our country, especially during the Obama administration, the questions they asked were vetted and reporters were held to not wandering from the defined subject. Why does Trump's administration not have the same rights as others throughout history?

The reporters lately are unruly and pushy, it used to be a privilege to be allowed to attend a presidential conference. The reporters are acting like they are working for the national enquirer lately.

One thing about Trump is that when challenged he will respond and often puts his foot in his mouth, he is a big businessman and he was not trained to trick someone into believing that he is in line with the people's beliefs. He does not tell people what they want to hear, he tells them what he believes or follows the path he has chose to follow. I am not one for sugarcoating things, my wife tells me to be more considerate with my kids, but I do not want to let them make their own mistakes when I can warn them. They often do not listen to me but when they found out that I was right, they learn to consider what I am saying. I usually try to tell my friends when they are on the wrong path, using hints and examples, and they learned to listen to me over the years. I do not want my friends to make the same mistakes I made either, learning the hard way is not necessary, I listened and learned and made lots less mistakes than many people did.

The direction taken by our economic leaders in this country long ago was wrong, it is very hard to change now. People are used to the easy life these days, we need to bring industry back to this country to make what we need. Correcting That is a republican directive, but without a republican president in office we would still be heading further and further down the wrong path. I have no respect for the Democratic agenda anymore as related to the economic security of this country.

I used to be a Democrat till about six years ago when I saw how the direction we were going in was not correct.

Well, I am not a racist, I would be blasting the reporter for not complying with reasonable measures in the press conference.. It does not matter to me what color the president and his chosen group of management is, they deserve respect in that job just like I desire respect when I am trying to do something the best way I can with the rules I have to follow in the job I am doing.

Why? Because this president lacks civility. He alone created the atmosphere of attacking reporters, people who didn't disagree with him, the constant lying and numerous other over the top rhetoric I've repeated many times before. Have you ever heard the saying "respect is a two way street?" He lacks no respect and takes no responsibility for any of his actions or ignorant rhetoric.

Come on, do you really support all the ignorant things that have come out of his mouth???

The reporters lately are unruly and pushy, it used to be a privilege to be allowed to attend a presidential conference. The reporters are acting like they are working for the national enquirer lately.

Like I said, he started this fight with the media. Maybe Trump should think about the saying "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." He's thin skinned, but continues to anger the press and those around him.

he is a big businessman and he was not trained to trick someone into believing that he is in line with the people's beliefs. He does not tell people what they want to hear, he tells them what he believes or follows the path he has chose to follow.

People give Trump more credit that what he deserves. His old man gave him millions to start his real estate business. He was such a bully in high school his dad had to send him off to a military boarding school. He's proven the military boarding school didn't change his ways, he's still a bully. What outrageous, is you and many other families would be pissed off if your kids were being bullied at school. Yet you support a President who engages in the same kind of belittling and name-calling as a school-aged bully. If you're a christian, think about if Jesus Christ would act the same way Trump has toward immigrant children and those fleeing violence and murder in their native country. If you ask me, justifying Trump's hate is really conflicting if you're a religious person. I don't even believe in religion, but my inner soul tells me this is not how a loving God would expect us to act.

The direction taken by our economic leaders in this country long ago was wrong, it is very hard to change now. People are used to the easy life these days, we need to bring industry back to this country to make what we need.

Hey we agree on something. However, any good that Trump has done can easily come back and bite him in the A$$. His poor character and dangerous rhetoric can easily destroy this country. I've said it before, I can actually agree with some things Trump has done, but I also can't ignore the divisiveness and dangerous direction he's leading this country into.

I am just saying it is the way it is. Trump cuts down the media, the other presidents just stopped anyone who asked the wrong questions from being allowed in and ignored the ones who asked questions that were not per-approved. The same suppression of the media happened, only Trump is mouthy and does not do it in the politically correct way. But remember, the press is not treating him correctly either. You do see in these press conferences that the same press personal are causing all the commotion don't you? It is only about fifteen percent of the press that are causing all the conflict at these sessions.

I think Trump actually likes the conflict because he is letting these people get away with it to prove his point. Many media companies are constantly twisting what he says and taking it out of context to make it appear he is saying things he is not really saying. Trump puts his foot in his mouth enough without being triggered.

The press and Trump are both being aholes in this war they have created. Trump has a big head, but so do the heads of these media corporations, it is like two goats butting heads. But that does not give a reporter the right to go off topic when asking questions. The truth can come out with facts and research after the fact, but not during these press conferences. I have never seen so many press conferences on TV in my life as I have seen in Trump's presidency. Sure, during disasters and in major wars there were more, but most times there were not many on TV. As far as I am concerned, they could just stop televising these press conferences on the major networks, they screw up people's watching of TV shows and they blame Trump when it is the media that is putting most of them on the major networks. They are becoming just as annoying as the robocalls every day.

If our government wanted to do something for the people, they should go after all those robocallers and the people saying your microsoft license is in jeopardy so they can hack into your computers to steal your credit card and bank information. Stopping the fraud in our society is much more important than political turmoil. A lot of people are getting ripped off and our government is doing nothing about it. Our whole society is deceitful, people do not even realize they are deceiving others because it is socially acceptable these days to deceive others.

You are right about Trump starting the fight with the media though. If he would have just ignore them instead of letting them get his goat it would not have been nearly as bad. Remember I said Trump and the heads of media are goats butting heads, that is real.

And I will not deny that trump is an overbearing attention seeking kid some times, but he is the president of our country.

Sorry, all false. The media has been spreading fake news lies about Trump since before he was elected. The new 'doctored' video is yet another instance of them lying, the video is near identical to the original and I actually think the original makes Acosta's actions look worse.

President Obama scolded a journalist Tuesday for shouting out a question — at a press conference — about illegal immigration from Central America.

Mr. Obama was discussing the challenges of illegal immigration when Washington Post reporter David Nakamura, who wasn’t on the pre-approved list of questioners, called out a question for Mr. Obama about his policies on illegal immigration from Central America.

So I guess Trump should just pre-approve questions and pre-approve who can ask them and then scold or demand any reporter who is out of line leaves.

Trump is not someone to turn the other cheek and I would not be either after the treatment starting with the election he received.

His rallies being full and the press did a close up on him being sure to never show how many and how full his rallies were. inaccurate reporting or just blatant fake news by the likes of CNN, NBC, MSN, etc etc.

Sure there are those who wish he would keep his mouth shut and let the press spread their lies.. Not me I hope he continues to call a spade a spade.. The hate everyone is complaining about starts with the fake news people and the NWO creeps who expected HRC to win to carry out their evil plans of making America a basket case.

"How is Trump gonna bring back jobs.. Does he have a magic wan" ? No he had a vision to make America great again ..Seems to be working if the GDP numbers are correct not to mention all the jobs being filled by those who want to work....youtu.be...

I can agree with you Trump's rallies are full. I was amazed at the amount of people who attended when he came to our city. He does have a very loyal base. He certainly knew that when he made the statement... "I could shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters." Think about that, it really doesn't say much about his supporters does it? In other words, his supporters like him so much, nothing will sway their support for him even if he shot somebody! It rings true because his supporters have completely ignored his contradictions, blatant lies and bullying. What's also amazing is that women have ignored his misogyny. In my book, character says a lot about a person. A president with a narcissistic personality disorder is simply dangerous for the United States which has the most powerful military and nuclear arsenal.

Any slight criticism of the narcissist, whether actual or perceived, often triggers narcissistic rage and full-blown annihilation from the narcissistic person.

If you don't believe he has a narcissistic disorder, the definition for it fits him to a Tee...

Narcissism: a disorder demonstrated by extreme self-involvement and lack of interest in and empathy for others combined with a need for admiration and patterns of grandiosity

It really doesn't make any sense when you and other Trump followers continue to call out the media as fake news. There's numerous recorded videos by THE MEDIA that prove his lies, contradictions, poor character, hate speech and belittling etc... They're all over YouTube and on the web. Sure CNN has a liberal slant but you also can't deny FOX news doesn't have a conservative slant. When you cut through all the clutter, it really comes down to the presentation of proof and facts. You can't keep claiming fake news when a recorded video doesn't lie. You can't make excuses and twist his words to defend him, when the words are coming straight out of the horses mouth!

Trump's blatant lies and attacks on America's values have caused a number of well-known conservatives to walk away from the Republican Party. George Will was a longtime political commentator and staunch defender of the conservative movement. I was surprised when he exited the Republican party! Trump certainly isn't doing the GOP any favors. In the end, he could easily weaken the party to the point where it no longer is considered legitimate. Long time well-known conservatives leaving the party should be a huge red flag.

Fact Checks by Politico has recorded 3,000 of Trump's untrue or misleading statements in just 466 days in office! Half of that amount is too many! Now I'm sure you will say Politico is liberal based, but it was considered to have a conservative base at one time.

Honestly, I have to agree with CNN that Trump would have had a better following if he would have stopped his tweeting and kept his mouth shut most of the time. He talks off the cuff and doesn't research anything before he speaks. I'm sure his base can relate to that, but if he's going to be a leader of the free world, he needs to speak with some sense of competency, empathy, and control his temperament. "Most" people don't like bullies, yet he displays that on a weekly basis. He simply makes himself look like a fool.

Really? I've watched Trump's live speeches and recorded videos. I and many others have enough sense and "objectivity" to tell weather the media is purposely twisting Trump's words. Hell, I can tell when both CNN and FOX put their political spin on subjects. How can you honestly make the above statement? When the media has iron clad proof of many of his contradictions, lies, belittling, name-calling etc, etc... on recorded video!! It's like ignoring the 800 lb. gorilla in the room! I put objectivity in quotes because many Trump supporters are not being objective when they ignore Trump's wrongs. I at least can actually say there are some thing about Trump I can agree with, but I'm not going to defend him when what he says is completely false, contradicting or full of hate and ignorance.

Let's just for the hell of it take his name-calling and belittling statements as an example. In your opinion those are not a personal attack on a person's character and not an example of hate speech? Look, you know it and I know it if Obama or any other liberal president would have put their foot in their mouth as much as Trump has, conservatives would have crucified them and rightly so! Without a doubt, considering they had the majority of both houses, Republicans would have impeached them within the first year. They certainly didn't waste anytime or money impeaching Bill Clinton. If Bill Clinton was a republican, I can bet my last dollar conservatives would have defended him saying his sexual affair doesn't affect how he does his job.

I'm not defending liberals here. As an independent, I can relate to both conservative and liberal issues. I think independents can be more objective considering they're not affiliated with one of the two parties. In my personal case, I hate politicians and feel they're all self-serving. I also think they should abolish the two-party system because they spend more time bickering and pointing fingers instead of doing the job they were elected to do.

The way Trump is firing and placing people in positions to protect him from the Mueller investigation is also extremely telling. No president is above the law. If he has nothing to hide, why does he keep on repeating it's a witch hunt...no collusion?? If he's not guilty of anything, let the FBI do its investigation. Let's face it, they already have a number of indictments.

His affair with a porn star has nothing to do with his job. However, can you honestly believe him when he says he didn't have an affair with her?

If our government wanted to do something for the people, they should go after all those robocallers and the people saying your microsoft license is in jeopardy so they can hack into your computers to steal your credit card and bank information. I have to totally agree with you and shake your hand if I could. Our representatives have done absolutely nothing on issues facing Americans today! All they worry about is holding onto their office, reaping a salary that is way above average than most Americans including their healthcare benefits and pension package. Heaven forbid if anyone would take their great benefits, salaries and pensions away! Yet they don't think twice about taking them away from their constituents. They vote for their own pay-raises, what American wouldn't love a job like that? Their job should only be temporary. But hey, they also have to vote themselves if they want term-limits... ain't going to happen.

I gave you two stars even though I disagree with you. Trump is a type "A" personality.. Full blown dominate male... because CNN started preaching he was a narcissist it evidently has struck a cord with some..As far as his comment about shooting someone and not losing votes... I saw him say it and the setting he said it in.. It was a joke.. But CNN says he meant it in a serious way.. Typical CNN twist and innuendo.

I judge Trump by what he has done for America's jobs and by those who have worked for him... His pilots think the world of him and have worked for him for a long time.. ... there were many others who said he was hard but fair and considerate to work for.. So... believe who you want to. I am sure if someone dug deep enough they could find someone who was fired from working for him and think he is totally evil..Tough...

His pilots would have left long ago to work for the Airlines if he was just another rich flake..Trust me on that.. I have actually met them and if he was half as bad as CNN claims they would have said something.. It is a pilot thing to bitch about ones working conditions especially if the conditions are bad.. Corporate pilots have an underground that tells others where the bad companies and bosses reside and there used to be plenty of the bad guys out there to avoid.

I have known a dozen people that were alpha throughout my life. They had successful businesses and built their little empires. They employed a lot of people who made a living wage. A couple were congressmen. These are the ones I personally knew fairly well and got along with them. They hated being challenged just like Trump and like the people who run the media companies. Men and women can both be alpha and because of these people and their delusions of wanting more they create a lot of good paying jobs. The majority of congressmen are alpha individuals, otherwise they would not seek that job.

Now, Trump says what he thinks, he is not politically correct and he does not tell us what we want to hear most times. That is not a typical politician, he puts his foot in his mouth many times and that is Trump. These major media groups do not lie about everything but they do interpret what Trump says like a strong Democrat would. It is not a lie, but a misconception. Trump thinks differently than most people being alpha and not having to be politically correct most of his life. He is not used to be called out, in his own businesses he would just fire anyone who called him out.

When I deal with these kind of people I hint or ask a question to make the person come to the correct conclusion. I learned how to manipulate these people to look in the right direction. Doctors are often like that, if you hint of what is possibly wrong using experience and family history, they tend to follow and prescribe the right treatment. If you try to tell them, they go opposite, they do not like to be challenged. Some doctors actually go opposite of my hints, I get a new doctor, I have been living with my hereditary tachychardia for my whole life, my father and uncle had it their whole lives. Yet the doctors want proof yet and they want me to go to testing over and over to prove I have it. It is just an inconvenience and I will not go for more testing, they already proved it is real over and over again and I cannot tolerate the meds well they give anyway. I adjusted my diet with research and trial and error and do not have anymore of those pesky Afib atacks. I also try to stay away from doctors, I have lost my patients with trying to steer them to look in the correct direction, those computer programs they use now never seem to work. This is just an example of dealing with alpha individuals, not all doctors are strong alpha, I like them but do not like doctors that are too polite either, I like ones that try to tell you straight out how to fix things. Doctors who have experience and can think on their own and who do not have good bedside manners. I do not like things sugar coated.

I am a person who evaluates things a lot. I do not have a good bedside manner, I do not want my kids to make the same mistakes I did and I am not pushy but I do try to tell them they are going astray. I thought Trump having his daughter and wife around would keep him on an even keel, but the media is trashing the very people who can keep him in line. Get them pissed off and they will not try to control Trump. The media and Democrats are causing irrational behavior in Trump, they know how to get his goat and are willing to butt their goat heads with him. I was trained to be a goat in my college at the fraternity I was in. The major colleges like Harvard train goats to rule the sheep in the world. Goats butt heads. They are alpha animals.

So in reality you think a loose cannon who needs family members to keep him in check and is a timber box ready to explode when he's challenged is the type of leadership that is safe for the U.S. and for world peace?? Keep in mind this is a leader who controls the most powerful military in the world in addition to a huge arsenal of nuclear weapons! Not being politically correct only creates friction, arguments and conflicts. There's a time to be tough and there are times to be a diplomatic statesman. After all, our representatives are not elected to be bickering and fighting over party beliefs. They're elected to negotiate in good faith with each other for the benefit of the citizens of this country! Which we have seen absolutely no bipartisan plans presented to the American people! What we get is the party in control shoves down our throats plans that only fall in-line with their narrow political beliefs.

What real tangible and affordable plans have been developed for out of control Healthcare and Education costs? Hell, Republicans want to completely repeal a healthcare plan that had some positive things Americans liked. Instead of working on both sides of the isle to improve the plan and remove things that were not working, they want to destroy it without offering anything tangible in its place! We have Trump claiming that Republicans want to preserve coverage for pre-existing conditions and democrats want to destroy it! What??? That was the Democrat's central theme of the Affordable Care Act! One of many lies he spews.

What about our failing education system, the ongoing mass-shootings, consumer rights, American's privacy, etc, etc.? These self-serving politicians, our current president included, are more worried about keeping their seat in government, satisfying their political donors and helping their own business interests instead of addressing these issues.

A president is not a business owner. He's a statesman that represents the people of the United States and is a leader of the free world. He's not a CEO where his words and actions only affect his business. They have dire affects on the lives of Americans, our constitution and the world.

This is your own reflection of traits of a good leader (an Alpha)...

They hated being challenged just like Trump and like the people who run the media companies.

-Temperament should be a priority in a leader. What a leader says can easily create conflicts in a country and on the
world stage.

he puts his foot in his mouth many times and that is Trump.

-This certainly doesn't show intelligence! I think many would want a leader who thinks before they speak. He's not a
guy sitting at a bar saying anything that pops into his head without having any proof to back it up. He's on the world
stage and represents America's character and standing in the world.

Trump thinks differently than most people being alpha and not having to be politically correct most of his life. He is not used to be called out, in his own businesses he would just fire anyone who called him out.

Many business owners and people who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths usually feel like they're more intellectual, and aesthetically superior than those who were not. After all, the rich really can't relate to people who are struggling on a daily basis just to make ends meet. It's exactly why our elected representatives who get paid well above the average pay of most Americans can't relate to the majority of Americans. If they were paid an average wage, didn't have lucrative pensions, and had a terrible healthcare plan, don't you think they would be fighting harder for legislation so they themselves would benefit from it?

There's a reason why Trump's father sent him to a military school hoping to adjust his attitude. Unfortunately for Donald, it didn't help. His bullying and lack of temperament now continues on a world stage. He certainly is a role model for high school bullies with all his name-calling and belittling.

When I deal with these kind of people I hint or ask a question to make the person come to the correct conclusion. I learned how to manipulate these people to look in the right direction.

As a President and a Leader who should be competent and self-reflecting, he shouldn't need this. This is definitely a handicap we shouldn't expect from a President.

I thought Trump having his daughter and wife around would keep him on an even keel, but the media is trashing the very people who can keep him in line. Get them pissed off and they will not try to control Trump.

Again, we elect a President that needs to have his children keep him in check?? If he's such a loose cannon, he should never be in the position of power.

The media and Democrats are causing irrational behavior in Trump, they know how to get his goat and are willing to butt their goat heads with him.

Again, he lacks temperament and you're making excuses for him. If he was competent and in control none of this should be getting under his collar. This is a direct reflection of his narcissistic personality. He's really not mentally stable to be President. ...If its too hot in the kitchen maybe it's time for him to get out!

Trump has only blown up a few things in the two years as president and did so to try to please mostly Democratic leaders. I do not think he is or was a danger to America. He is accomplishing some things and takes more flack and slander than any president I know would have taken. Look at Obama, he had his IRS hassle a bunch of donors to the Republican party after he got in. He got caught, but nobody said squat about it in fear of being called racist.

Trump has tried to complete what he said he was going to do, but has been fought tooth and nail. Well, it happened with Obama but not on everything Obama tried to do and not against Obama's personal life so much.

The era is changing, I feel we are not going to have anyone honest and good wanting to run for any congressional job in the near future, we will just get the worst of the worst that will even run for congress. People who do not care how much they are slandered will run. Then when they leave office they will sue everyone who slandered them. I expect there is a running tab of future lawsuits that will be filed by Trump's lawyers after Trump is out of office. That is what I would do if I were him, so far there is no law that prohibits this from happening that I am aware of. The same thing will happen with congressmen that are slandered. Remember slander is from spreading false or misleading or twisted interpretations of evidence to discredit or financially hurt someone. I look at all the medias twisted evaluations and see that Trump and his family have a goldmine coming in. You are not allowed to make false accusations against anyone, you can get sued, even big corporations get sued on a regular basis and it costs their shareholders dearly to pay these lawsuits. The ones running the corporations rarely lose a cent, it is the shareholders who lose.

Trump has not shown improper temperament, he has not hit anyone or done anything I have seen to show an improper loss of temper. I am sure he has had some fits in private, it is not illegal or bad to be mad, it is what you say and how you say it that is what is bad. He has slammed back at people who lied or twisted things about him but why should that be used against him. I have seen that behavior by lots of Senators and judges in the past. Does the President have to restrict his tongue when others are harassing him? Obama didn't, he bitched back. Most presidents would just stick the IRS or secret service after someone. Obama sent the Secret service here to investigate a guy before obama came to town here to give a rally speech. No messing around by presidents before, they just slammed the door on people's fingers and finances. I have not heard of Trump doing that yet, he is an inexperienced president in that manner, Obama would have sent the IRS and secret service and FBI to media that published this kind of stuff against him, so would Bush and Clinton before him.

I am not pro-Trump, in fact I think he is an A-hole, I never wanted to watch his TV show. But he is now our President and I do not feel people should be allowed to slander him with twisted interpretations of evidence. No leader of any country in the world would allow this action, they would have it silently taken care of, eliminating the problem one way or another. All the leaders of Europe would do that.
