Actually, the President isn't required to even have these press conferences. He doesn't have any obligation at all to talk to the press, or have Q&A sessions. Also, yes, it's the President's home, as such he's not required to let anyone in at all.

The video was not altered and nothing was sped up.

Acosta is not banned from wht White House. He had is hard pass pulled, which allowed him daily access unescorted. He can still enter and attend press briefings however he has to get a daily pass and be escorted while in the White House. Secondly CNN can send other people to cover the President that are, ya know, professional and not a no talent ass clown.

He is claiming violations of his 1st and 5th amendments (a hilarious claim to say the least). Covering the President does not = a constitutional right. It is in fact a privilege.

Acosta always finds a way to play the victim card from his own asshattery.

It doesnt help when you submit legal paperwork for court and in that paperwork you claim another reporter as an eyewitness only to find out said eyewitness doesnt even cover the President nor is assigned to DC.

In this case Acosta / CNN explanation doth butter no parsnips.

CNN/ACOSTA have their day in court tomorrow (Wednesday @ 3pm), before a Federal Judge.

Here are 6 reasons why their lawsuit will likely FAIL: townhall.com...

The judge on this case doesn't rule on it until Thursday.

Their day in court was actually Tuesday. Instead of an immediate ruling the judge took at day to look at all the info etc. When they come back today the judge will give his ruling.

Absent the judge being pro liberal I dont see how CNN/Acosta's legal challenge will be successful.

Finally there is no constitutional requirement or law requiring press briefings or the press being at official functions. Only Acosta was inconvenienced (he can still enter but has to get a day pass and be escorted while he is there). Other CNN reporters at the WH still have their access and hard id passes.

There is no 1st amendment violation being Acosta have been bitching the moment his pass was pulled on CNN's air.
There is no 5th amendment violation (due process claim) since it has nothing to do with legal action taken agaisnt acosta.

Simple, it's zoomed in to show the detail of what happened. Look at that side by side at the link I posted and tell me again it's "doctored."

It's "doctored," simply because the C Span version is not sped-up compared to the Daily Wire Infowar Watson/Sanders version.

Trump political propaganda fake news brainwash at its finest...that would make Stalin proud; but would have Thomas Jefferson turn in his grave.

How ironic.
Several videos, all of them in fact (whether slowed down or not), show Acosta forcibly pushing the young womans arm away in order to retain control of the mic and here you are calling others brainwashed.

That is absurd. No need to make stuff up Acosta was in the wrong.

In terms of reality an intern shouldn't be trying to grab a mic from someone and be the one initiate contact.

If acosta doesnt give the mic back it's not an interns job to provide security. There is a reason people are designated to use force. It's the job they signed up for.

There was no issue here or you can guarantee something would have been filed over assault.

That's an easy fix. You just move the press room and stop holding presidential press conferences. Offer more one on one sessions with smaller outlets who know how to behave.

FALSE! Fake News.

The court has not Ruled, the case is ongoing and continues.

Nice try leftist, but we all know you're a try hard.

"The judge granted CNN's request for a temporary restraining order. A lawsuit that CNN brought against the Trump administration over the issue is continuing."

Also, from same link...

"The White House says it will "temporarily reinstate" the White House press credentials of CNN reporter Jim Acosta in response to a judge's order." Et al.

"White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders also called for "decorum" at the White House and said they would be developing "rules and processes to ensure fair and orderly press conferences in the future." Et al.

Trump is right about Acosta and his behaviour won't be tolerated in the WH anymore 😌

Two fold, this works in Trumps favor.

The judge granted a temporary injunction which allows Acosta back in for 14 days so the judge can hear further oral arguments.

If Acosta gets fully reinstated then the WH just needs to end press briefings.

I'd schedule them more often. Seat him in the back and call on smaller organizations that aren't party to the legal action. As soon as Acosta starts talking over everyone, I'd say, "Sorry, guys. Jim doesn't think you're important enough to have your question heard... I can't hear. We are trying to have an orderly event with you as guests. We're going to cancel today. Maybe we'll try again another day".
Then I'd invite the person he interrupted back for a fully catered one-on-one interview back in the residence. Wash-rinse-repeat, calling only on reporters not party to the action who are also patiently and quietly raising their hands. If they're going to act like uncouth kindergarteners, treat them like it. Reward good behaviour and ignore the offenders.

Acosta antics and lawsuit made me think.

I wonder how many people Acosta / CNN have blocked on twitter. Time to use their argument to have those people unblocked since clearly it violates those individuals 1st and 5th amendment rights.

You can't win re election with your base alone. Trump has serious problems with suburban voters, if the plan is hoping the Democrats put up someone as bad as Clinton (which let's be honest is a real possibility) then there is a pretty large chance for failure.

Point is no press is bad press. Or at least before twitter. I could be wrong.

The court did rule, on the temporary restraining order. That's a win.
