The method you are suggesting fails in the first instance, to be in any way humane.

Something being humane does not revolve around whether or not it causes permanent PHYSICAL damage to a person, but whether it causes damage to the mind also, and further to that, whether pain is part of the process, serious physical pain or the mental scarring that comes from regular exposure to said pain.

This is also not any way to treat people who are largely already victims of a government initiative to brainwash and recruit vulnerable people to their proxy armies all over the world. There IS no way to achieve your goal using this method, and there is certainly no humane way to use this method.

I would advocate a much simpler and less costly methodology.

Shoot them in the gut with a few small caliber rounds and leave them in a ditch to bleed out.

This will adjust their attitude and guarantee this one will not commit another terrorist act.

Oh. I forgot ... Humane:

We stand in front, facing them; so they see what is coming next. It could also be televised for a more "international" effect.

Humane aye . read your post again and tell which part of that is humane in any way ?

You are suggesting psychological torture, which would ultimately cause PTSD

back to the drawing board , the most humane way to deal with any human is with love for their fellow humans and a great deal of compassion!

Indeed. Its almost as if folk would rather torture, program and abuse their fellow human beings, than take adequate responsibility and control over their governments foreign policy, which is actually the root cause of the existence of the terror networks in the first place. Be they narco terrorists or religious fundamentalists from the Middle East or North Africa, these networks are owned and operated by the intelligence services of the western world in the main. The US was responsible for the creation and maintenance of Osama Bin Laden's mob of maniacs, MS13 could not exist at all without the CIA, nor could any of the major cartels in South America, or ISIS, or whatever they are being called this year.

And yet, rather than force government to cease all clandestine funding of groups that could become or have become a threat to innocent lives, rather than stop their government bombing entire nations to ruin and creating terrorists with every detonation, some people would rather violate a person so badly that it would be more humane to just head shot them and let the bugs pick over their corpses...

There is just no way to wrap my head around the sheer idiocy involved, leave alone the wanton barbarity. I do not shy away from violence, because sometimes a violent answer is the only one that works. But in the case of terrorism it has been proven that violence does not work, and nor will torture like this. Both things only create more terrorism. Ending the MIC power that drives war in this modern age, against "threats" who can at most put a crappily built bomb near soft targets, but pose no actual military threat to the western world, is the right and proper way to end the threat of terrorism. Cutting off the money flowing from the intelligence agencies of Western nations, and the partners in the War on Terror, to those fundamentalists, cartels, and narcoterror groups, will be more effective in the short, medium and long term, than ANY amount of torture of individuals ever will be.

It also happens to have the advantage of being the right thing to do, for all the right reasons, rather than an appalling thing to do, for all the wrong reasons.

Whatever happened to therapy to remove memories?
That’s the only solution I’ve ever thought of as being viable to indoctrination.

Treating criminals better than they treated their victims is working quite well, isn't it? That's what many people believe at least.

Taking away other's rights and expecting yours to be protected?

agreed mate , so funny that the west spend nearly 50 years+ fighting the "war on drugs" biggest state conspiracy ever , take away the freedom of society to explore their own consciousness, make it illegal , say you are fighting drug cartels all over the world where they dont adhere to your particular ideology , use tax payers money to fund it and overthrow democratically elected governments to install proxy puppets and regimes friendly to your ideology jsut to fight communism

All along , the government just had to legalise drugs to stop narco terrorism and the funding of human trafficking and take the illegal drug trade out of the hands of criminal elements being supported and funded by black budget campaigns .Why do you think Afghanistan is so important to America , not only to get closer to USSR but also to secure teh fields of opium to commit state sponsored narco terrorism in Russian territory, Ongoing to this day.

its all linked together, private prisons , the narco terrorism of the US by the CIA to enforce drug / criminal policies and fund private prisons , to suppress communities to divide and conquer .
# the whole Contra affair , narco terrorism , crack coc aine epidemic in america funded by the CIA

but the US learn from the best , the east india trading company secured the first contract to sell opium into China , narco terrorism goes wayyyyyy back!

Our governments are scum

There is a term for that.
Forcing your perception on others is what a psychopath does.
Education however and a sound legal system and administration
works long term.

Torturing someone as a means of reform is an awesome idea. It's worked SO well in the past!

EDIT: Oops. Resurrected a month old goofy topic. Didn't realise! It shouldn't be so high on the top, then!
