Again I feel this just goes back to the fact that we on the left cant stand the way the man conducts his business. Many trump haters have hated trump in a silly way for YEARS. Before he became leader of the free world- Cause he always came across as a sleazy snake-oil salesman... to us... those who hate him. We dont care that in reality he truly is a moderate dem.

It comes down to the fact that his conduct is representative of his past- something most of is haters already hated on. To the trump haters... this is the most important part of keeping the sanctity of the oval office in tact. I think its really that simple whether one agrees or disagrees with a trump vote.

But his supporters also know who he is and was. it's not a secret. But what I honestly cannot grasp, is why the left cannot even give his policies that are working a chance. his negotiations with NAFTA and now with China working with trade, it's a win for the US, not the republicans. But rather than offer any hope of unity, the left clings tightly to their wet dream of impeachment, and now some of the loony ones are including Pence in their impeachment talk. I should applaud this, as it will solidify Trump 2020, but damn, watching this train wreck is getting a bit old. It's a shame that the left cannot see that.

Simple- give credit where its due before you take yours....

If the right wouldnt proclaim this current economy as the unilateral result of one Donald J Trump, it would go a very long way.

Just admit the economy turned around in 2010 as a result of policies enacted by a republican congress and dem president- despite the gridlock. Give some credit to Obama and then say the economy has only continued to flourish under Trump policies. Simple. It wouldnt kill the right to admit this point. After that- the dems lose their "#thanksobama" mantra.

Proper 4d chess.

I don't have to love and respect the president or Pelosi...just do their freaking jobs and stop purposely dividing the country..

Anybody remember one of Trumps campaign promises which was term limits...that aint gonna happen..and they will both continue to build their own personal empire of wealth

Go back and check my post history.

I have been saying since the day trump got elected.

He has no true party loyalty.

Trump WILL start being more democratic now that the dems have more power.

Trump sides with whomever has the power.
Excuse me, that is a stupid statement to make. The Dems have no real power, he is making compromises with the dem leadership.

I mean.. Talk about a 180. Is this kind of talk appreciated? Sure- Cant by a hypocrite and berate him on all his negative comments and then ignore the interesting ones like this.

But I must ask- with all the pelosi hate here- Do you all agree she deserves credit/loves her country/ and will work for the benefit of U.S citizens?

Speaking as a lib who voted blue- Im sick of her and would like new blood.

I think she probably started off as idealistic and wanted to make a better country but when you get in the DC bubble and become very rich, the perspective becomes clouded and skewed. I think she is very naive regarding the younger generation and if she knew how communistic they were, I think she would be a much more bipartisan politician and if someone can open her eyes to this situation, how many of the immigrants have NO LOVE for America, the land, country or people, and if she could be "red pilled" to the reality of the situation, she might just be a powerful ally in making "old time" democrats aware of this issue and even maybe work towards solutions which the right can support or at least live with.

Trumps a vulgar man,. I probably wouldnt hang out with uhim (eh yeah I would, but many of my friends are vulgar) He cheated on his wife which I have no respect for.

I been told a number of time that Trump is very different in private, very personal and approachable. For much of what anyone would call vulgar his is still less than what I see as more of the norm in the daily public life of the population, left or right. He is just not a politician. As example little do people know that Hillary throws F-bombs around like a drunken sailor in private...very mean spirited woman, but all motherly, or tries to be on stage.

Trump just doesn't care, but when you compared him to a 1/2 dozen other Presidents held in high esteem he is far less then they were.

If Trump hadn't dismantled regulations constructed during the Obama regulations, implemented tax cuts that the Left derided as people -killing and revenue-busting (record revenues collected last year, btw), helped reshore jobs that Obama said were never coming back, opened greater access to export markets by using tariffs (that the Left screamed were going to destroy the economy and consumer, hit far stronger growth percentages in GDP after Obama said his 2% was just the "new normal" and days of 3% growth were gone forever (his administration was the first in history to never have a single year of 3%+ growth despite having a GDP loss two years which would make a rebound year or two easier), etc, then I think you would have some sort of cogent argument.

Unfortunately, all the policies he has sought to institute this historic economy (lowest unemployment since 1969! Highest wage growth in over a decade! Insane confidence numbers) the Left has fought tooth and nail and hailed as disastrous.

So no, I don't think they get a "moral victory" bonus point for the preceding eight years.

He needs her so for the benefit of the country he's reaching out to her. No one thinks this is true.

I don't see a source in the op.

He's just buttering her up so he can get something from her.

Exactly. Can't trust a Trump, there is an ulterior motive for this. He's never nice by nature.

Of course I don't she's the harlot of Lucifer... but I understand what Trump is doing. He did the same when he offered an olive branch to Hillary. He's being cordial and offering some manner of willingness to work with the person, if it's rejected, well... then that's on Pelosi and she'll get to answer to the voters (or, rather, her party will answer to the voters) in 2020 after 2 years of their typical horsecrap and leadership failure. We saw the same in 2010.

Actually, that would be going through Jerrold Nadler in the House Judiciary Committee.

But either way, whatever it takes, right?

Whatever it takes to impeach ? No , I don't think so . Just surmising motives for his uncharacteristic flattery of Pelosi.

by the phrase --> Pelosi loves her country---- the supposed Admirer was not meaning She loves the USA or anything like that (imo)…

the country she 'Loves' is the San Francisco her policies and attitude has created there, with the sky-high taxes/ socialist agenda, & the notable Open Toilet Streets where the homeless drop-their-drawers & poop whenever-wherever they wish

glad I never went to nob hill as a past hippy or else I would be revulsed at Pelosi-Country now

ETA: i think Trump was just being extremely-ironic or just playing the black-humor card on the radical dems

Oh, the "pretend I don't know what you're talking about" debate method.

Oh, the 5th grade memories.

I think impeach at all costs is actually the 5th grade mentality .
But don't get me wrong, if there is proof of impeachment level corruption I say impeach . If there is evidence of criminal activity I say lock him up .
Pretty simple . Goes for all of them .
