I can tell you , here in Idaho they promised a massive blue wave, and talked down to us, protested in boise etc......

Turns out they got absolutely ran over.......

This sends the message, we DO NOT WANT that sort of politics anymore.......

Were tired of being called racists, bigots, hateful, anti-women, anti-semetic, etc etc etc.........just because we have different views.....

To me this whole election should be a learning point for both sides..........

What would this election and world look like through an unbiased lens of media...for fun sakes just for this term let us say if they reported totally 50/50.

Maybe all this bias is a necessary part of an agenda that most do not see.

Not divisive OR inclusive...something else altogether....

We are now expecting this mass insanity..can we handle an incoming wave of awesome truth?

this doesnt even make sense.........maybe no drinky before posty

I'm calling it a wave.

Yet it wasnt and we still hold the majority ..........

Be as wordy as you want , I can sum it up just as succinctly as........

"Its a wake up call to both sides"

I look forward to your 500000 word response........

Even though Beto lost, it was a close race. It’s been a long time since a Dem has even come close in Texas. I am encouraged by the fact that it didn’t seem like most Dems #WalkedAway, contrary to what I’ve been hearing on ATS.

I hate the thought of Nancy Pelosi with the gavel again. I really hope the dems will put someone else in charge.

I suspect a handful of the dem reps are moderates, even conservatives, and Trump will be able to peel enough away for most of his agenda. House generally doesn't go strict party line as much as Senate. He only needs a few.

I clearly remember until just a week or two ago all the polls were calling for a democrat Senate. sounds like some revisionism here.

I know you like to spin for your side

But come one, you are calling this a wave!

Hahahaha!

Ok sure!

The points about voter rolls, whatever. Anytime rolls are cleared up or if is suggested, some people yell fraud

Who is fear mongering again?

And as far as all of the institutions I mentioned being almost totally dominated by leftists, of course you laugh that off

If it was the other way around, you would be yelling corruption or racism or something,

The fact is the democrats are massively in control of almost all institutions in this country which shape public opinion, and are attempting to shut down conservative voices even more in those institutions

Gerrymandering, convenient you fail to mention democrats do it as well

The funny thing is any right wing person that would now start complaining about the Dems stuffing ballots or other corruption, you would mock and say are fear mongers

Yet here you are doing the same

Lastly your laughable foreign powers meddling to help them schtick continues to be hilarious!

Ohhh those Facebook trolls! They ruined everything!

But please, tell me about republican fear mongering again!

I do believe we turned the house and gained some new governors and senators.
Now instead of predicting a blue wave you guys will shift to denying it happened.
Rich....

I don’t deny the results happened

I deny it was a blue wave

But if you need to act like this was some sort of huge repudiation of trump with a wave against him, feel fine to ignore reality

If this was a wave, what did you call the beating the Dems took after two years of Obama in office?

What polls were you looking at? The Republicans have been projected to hold the Senate since the first polls started coming in at the beginning of September.

Both sides can claim victories, wins. It's not the best outcome for either side, but probably the best for the country. If one side or the other won completely it would have only further divided the county.
