how long before we should see some results? I'm in the UK so don't really know what's going on with it all but would like to see the results coming in.

I think some early results might start coming in from 11pm UK time.. but only very very early. Will be all night and still coming in tomorrow morning.
Exit polls look good for Dems, but they did in 2016 also.

I live in St. Louis. Just voted. Wasn't much of a wait, but when I approached the doors of the church I was handed a sample ballot and given an explanation of what was on it along with advice to vote a straight democrat ticket, reason being there were not any republicans worth voting for.

Not telling you what to do, but if I were you I would report that to the election board as it is illegal.

I knew it to be illegal and have already reported it.

Voting stops at 7PM local. It takes a bit to start getting some numbers. For a good estimate to be known is usually about 3 or 4 hours. Some places count faster than others.

Will it matter ? That's the real question ! ... BTW : since we hear so much about China and Russia ad Iran meddling ... How about hearing of EU meddling in these elections ? Would that be a refreshing concept ?

Technically no. The Dems won in Guam.

That's because Dem districts always vote late - they have to stuff the ballots at the end and decide how many illegal votes and dead people votes they will include.

20,000 votes now in Indiana 62% R... but all votes in red districts so far.

No House or Senate for Guam, so not relevant.

First results are usually rural, so they will tend to favor red.
