So far things seem awful blue for a red wave.

I think the Democrats still could win the House because there are a lot of districts that are more traditionally blue that have to be defended, but I think overall the Republicans hold the senate.

This will not be the grand success the Democrats were hoping for although they may have some success out of it.

A traditional wave election is a pickup of between 30 to 50 seats that also picks up some races you wouldn't think would flip, and I don't think they will see that.

Massachusetts (sorry I had Virginia on the brain) just re-elected their GOP governor though.

Well, I cannot tell what the color of this wave will be.

The US starts out blue in the east, turns red, then ends blue.

This will be a nail biter … and I just hope everyone can try to be civil with whatever results we gather for our Republic.

Doesn't have to be a wave at all.

Wow

It amazes me to see how these sites adjust their predictions.

Now 538, who again originally had it about only a 1 in 15 chance of republicans maintaing the house, has it up to a 1 out of 3 chance.

Theb chance they maintain the senate is 19 out of 20

The really BIG pieces of legislation and the SCOTUS confirmations come out of the Senate. That is a MUST KEEP for Republicans.

It's still early. Little wins/losses still has a huge bearing on predictions.

ATS drinking game.

Disclaimer, I watch CNN for laughs.

Every time John King says "we", take a drink. And when he says "we" he means democrats.

Cheers

Scroll down on www.nytimes.com... and you'll see the % of precincts reporting. Texas is at 1%.

Florida at 90% and DeSantis with a hair thin lead.

Scott has apparently also taken a lead.

Florida never disappoints with its theatrics.

I am starting to feel better about the repubs chances.

At this point i feel the senate is very likely to stay republican.

The house is looking better as well, though still a coin toss

538, who again had thye dems winning the house at about a 90% clip, has officially changed and now says the repubs have a 60 % chance of maintaining the house.
