Better pull up a chair. I think you'll be waiting for some time.

Much like NK's nuclear dismantling, it pays to be patient and actually wait to see if they follow through before gloating, guys.

Like NK, China is no fool when it comes to playing chess with the US. This might be genuine, or a move purely to placate us with for the short term. We'll find out when they actually make the move.

I agree, as always, that waiting is the best thing to do.

BUT, the fact that the president of China has publicly stated this, and at a trade expo lends a bit more credibility to it, being on such a public stage and the symbolism of it all.

Very true...but as with NK we didn't procede with anything on our end until goals were met. So I doubt the tariffs are going anywhere until they indeed make some official moves. China is a bit bigger of a player and much more intwined globally though so its a bit harder for them to blow smoke like NK tends to. Guess we will wait and see...but it sure hasn't been the doom and gloom I saw people posting in threads when we first levied these tariffs.
