Disclaimer - I blogged for and voted for Donald Trump in the last election - Acturally think he is a decent President and might vote for him again.

BUT - The truth, which Donald has a habit of exaggerating is that he is a classic Republican, not the populist he trys to convey.

And as a classic Repubican represents Big Business and the Industrial complex - The main power group influencing the World stage
- A group that puts the insurance industry above your interests [unless you own stock in those companies]

For the rest of us, these companies will always cost you more in the long run, especially when it comes to healh care.

They invade Medicare and Medicaid with false promises of more benefits while giving you less in the long run
- They profit off a non-existent middle by taking money from the government, health care providers, and YOU!
- Corporate Fascism at its worst.

Buy you, you who are young and healthy now, you say I don't need government health protection, insurance rates are still cheap [?] and if
and when I get old the companies will be there - As long as you are a profitable investment the'll be there - After that your a liability and they
might sooner see you dead.

But that's the nature of corporate fascism - the bottom line, the god, is profit - Human life is not important.

Rich Republicans and Donald Trump might mean well - but their soul is influenced, if not owned, by the devil.

Trump in many ways is a good and interesting leader - But I believe we can not allow his ego and the gods of profit to rule America.

This election may determine whether America still has a soul - Time to give the Democrats another chance

America without compromise is Fascism

I appreciate your perspective & candor as a Trump voter about this, but you're definitely going to get mauled for it.

Um no. Not until they (the Democrats) lose some of their pure obstructionist Congress folk, in both the House and the Senate. While I agree there needs to be checks and balances, pure obstructionism is NEITHER.

Oh may gawd, lawdy have you lost your mind?

Trump is the messiah and the Republicans are here to save us!

They really care about our best interest because god king Trump turned everything right around!! .

The derpacrats are even worse. Do any of you ever cut the # with the partisan politics and get back to reality where theres trillions of dollars of budget money and 100's of billions of dollara of contract money on the table for some high rolling banksters and military industrial complex venture capitalist

You seem to be implying that Democrat leaders are not "classic republican", that they dont represent Big Business and the Industrial complex.

I dont think your correct about that.

Many young people could get basically free healthcare and a free education. Join the Coast Guard or Reserves. All that plus a paycheck for serving one weekend a month. If they do 20 years they also earn a pension. They will even put you through officer school for free. It's an amazing value but unfortunately we have a segment of society that just want things they did not earn.

Though I think you are correct in much of your criticism of republicans, the truth is the democrats are just as in bed with these corporations.

In fact, they seem to get just as much if not more donations from them.

And when the dems have had power, what have they done to stop them? They bailed out the banks. They went for the neocon/ neolib regime change wars.

The truth is the dems are the party of the very poor and very rich. The middle class tends to vote republican (though the party has been woefully inadequate at representing them)

There seems to be two economic thoughts on the democratic party at this point.

The corporatism that was represented by hillary and Obama.

And socialism represented by bernie.

Both are terrible, and not a reason to vote for democrats, even if you dislike the republican economic policies.

Something that seems to get lost in the mix here that I'd like to point out.

You know who is not partisan...?

Insurance companies.

My health care expenses went down $2,500 a year, I kept my insurance and I kept my doctor.

Exactly like that, except I lost my health care, my expenses went up about $17,000 a year and as a Vet I was "allowed" to go to a hospital 240 miles away that never, in 6 years, ever actually treated me.

Fast forward to Trump... I got my health care back, but now I have a card that allows me to drive 9 miles and be seen the same day.

And to the OP.. it's not "corporate fascism".. that's the stupidest intertwining of words I have ever read.

It was the government's intervention of my choice of health care.

Which is technically called statism.. you would recognize it as socialism.

Or you probably wouldn't...

I would like to point out that taking healthcare companies and regulating them until they can only make a profit through the government is actually Progressive, so you are somewhat right.

However, progressivism and socialism are sisters that hold hands and walk down the same path.

Total government control over industry.

"However, progressivism and socialism are sisters that hold hands and walk down the same path".

Agreed - I could remember a debate I was having with a chess playing friend about poitics years ago

- And my conclusion - The worst possible government is that run by 'crooked socialists'
- Stil believe that - Why I voted for Trump over another Clinton .

Now, I believe the second worst form of government is that run by corporate fascists - the current danger with giving
Trump carte blanche control of the government - Why I think, that in this election its time to give the Dems another
chance - And we will see where to go in 2020.

Or you could ask the question.. When did America and Britain become NAZI states While all the time professing Democratic propaganda with the right hand , and implanting its true purpose with its left hand.? You have to hand it to them they have done a great job. I think when Gallen a NAZI general was given a retirement party by the CIA. The runes were well cast. J.F.K tried to stop the rot but it was even to late by then.

I like offbeat conspiracies - read many books on them and believe there is some truth in most of them.
And ATS has many forum sections on New World Order, etc.

But sometimes as Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis and the study of symbols once said:

"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"-

And sometimes a Republican is just a Republican - While Democrats remain relative to the times and should be seen accordingly.

The Democrats have big corporations backing them also, corporations that have us hooked on things we really do not need. Technology is nice, but so many people have eight hundred dollar phones and expensive phone plans yet do not have money to properly feed and shelter their families. The liberals seem to be supported by these corporations and the medical industry that puts people through unnecessary tests and promotes expensive treatments for terminally ill people.

Follow the money....Republican corporations tend to supply us with things we need and Democrat corporations tend to supply wants over needs. They promote fear in the people to trap people into needing their services. Sure the Republican backing corporations do that somewhat, but I would say the Corporations allying with Democrats doing that are giving much more to the Democratic cause.
