Has anyone noticed this about scientists?

With the exception of a few, scientists openly claim that UFO's do not exist because there is "no physical proof" despite photos, movie clips and testimony.

On the other hand, they believe that the universe is so vast that there must be life outside of our world. Now...How is that any different from what we (ATS) all believe? The only difference is that we HAVE proof. We have pictures and home movies of weird aerial phenomenon. They have nothing but probablity yet they insist they are right and we are wrong at this time.

Does anyone else agree?

Do you know anything about scientific method, inductive evidence, or empirical data?

No not really.

There is a lot of work put into proving a hypothesis. Without sufficient data to work with it makes any researching into the subject at hand very difficult. Even if a researcher gets enough data to make or break his or her hypothesis, any other researcher wishing to falsify the data may not be able to gather enough data to prove or disprove the hypothesis the orginal researcher set out to prove. Thus that is the reason many researchers do not touch the subject, there is simply not enough data to form a clear inductive hypothesis that may one day become theory.

Not only do we have visual evidence, we have witness evidence, and radar evidence. Look at the Disclosure Project DVD to see it. FAA Division Chief John Callahan presents documents showing what the radar picked up, what the pilot saw and video footage. The only thing better than that is having an actual chunk of a UFO.

The evidence is out there, people just need to know where to look.

You're funny dude. If I saw a sign like that out cruising... Id think twice for sure. Too bad you didn’t see something like that. You should find one and put one up around your place.

Thank you for pointing that out. You're right.

Some (not all) scientists seem to always want to solve everything. They need proof. They want to apply their “laws and methodologies” to everything. It’s obvious that strange phenomenon exists. Maybe it can’t be measured or studied in a way that they want it too. We don’t know everything and everything can’t be proved. That’s all I’m trying to say gentlemen.
