The Bible is more concerned with the quality of thoughts of the soul than the energy that is flowing through the body.

I think that is your perception of the Bible.

When people learn deeply how to meditate then they can see what is beneath the surface with their consciousness.

How can you really know your soul if you cannot communicate with it beneath the surface?

The temporary player character we are playing in this game of life is not the soul.

I'm not opposed to knowing thy self. In fact, a wise man once stated that you should keep your enemies closer than your friends; but knowledge of self is not sufficient for spirituality. It puts us no closer to the truth. It only reveals to us our capacity for self deception...that is, only if we examine ourselves with an objective skepticism.
