Trump's own tweet proved to be his downfall in emoluments case and tax releases.

Many lawsuits do not make Fox news or any other news regarding politicians. Obama and Hillary have many pending lawsuits against them. Trump has lawsuits against him and will have many more. It comes with the territory.

True, but something this big, this close to its end directly concerning the President of the United States, wouldn't you think they should cover it?

Brennan should have lawsuits against him as well. Probably does. He did lie to Congress and was spying on members of Congress.

Yep. As I suspected:

"NSA and CIA whistleblower Dennis Montgomery has sued former FBI director James Comey, as well as President Obama, former CIA director John Brennan and current NSA director Mike Rogers, for allegedly covering up mass surveillance of United States citizens including President Donald Trump."

We been through this before. Don’t get your hopes up .

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a pair of lawsuits claiming that President Donald Trump’s failure to divest himself of his real estate empire and other business holdings violated the Constitution’s provision banning receipt of foreign “emoluments” while in public office.

U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels ruled that the two suits were fatally flawed because the plaintiffs failed to show injury directly related to the use of Trump’s properties by foreign officials and governments.

This is from your WP link.

Messitte ordered the plaintiffs, the attorneys general for the District and Maryland, to submit a schedule for discovery — the process of producing evidence for the case — within 20 days. That decision is subject to appeal.

The difference now is that the case has not been thrown out like the others and the chances of it being appealed are very small. But I suppose we will see.

Nearly all cases can be appealed, maybe you meant the appeal being granted.

So a judge who thinks he is guilty before seeing evidence. Sounds like the typical liberal activist judge.

I obviously don't know what the judge thinks, all I can do is infer from his decision. At the very least he believes Trump's defense is laughable.

Trump gave up his role as president of the Trump Organization and is working for free. But they’re after him for supposedly profiting off the presidency. This isn’t justice. It’s obstruction.

He DID NOT give up ownership of the company like Presidents before him did to avoid this issue. Trump is not above the law.

If they ordered discovery it that emotion will instantly be appealed. There’s already presidents out there that shows this suit has no standing .

It’s just something else for the left to talk about now that they no longer talk about Russia Russia Russia.

There is no law requiring a president to give up their business. Where do people get these dumb ideas from? Many presidents have continued to run businesses while in office it wasnt until mid 20th century that we had professional politicians. And this imaginary idea that a politician cant own a business is silly the only restriction is investing in wall street with insider information. They are supposed to enter into a blind Trust if they may have dealings with companies that they have invested in.

And as far as foreign payments to a company owned by the president that's ok too. There were presidents in the past that sold produce on world markets meaning they received money from foreign nationals. What makes this illegal is if no service is given for the payment. If they rent rooms in a hotel they are receiving a service for their payment.

One more thing the emoluments clause is very specific on violations. and intent has to be involved as well.

You are not being rationale.
Do you understand how long it takes to sell a business? He has 500 of them.
It's also not illegal to own businesses and be President the last I checked - unless people's rights get removed if they are business owners these days.
What he did was acceptable according to his legal advice. You heroic activist judge will only get so far - just like the activist judges who tried to take away the President's constitutional power to deny entry to the country.

Here's an idea - why don't you stop shovelling snip for the MSM and corrupt Democrats and drop the stupid search for "gotcha's" no matter how insignificant and instead start discussing actual issues. Just a thought...

You know, you could just type "Trump BAd bAD Rrreeee", copy it, paste it in a document then type in a title and control-V your actual content.

It would save us all a lot of time... for instance, that way I don't have to scroll down very far to get a giggle at the replies.

Control-V... all the cool alt-left kids do tt now!

What's wrong? You don't want to hear the bad stuff about Trump? You only want to hear good news? Because the bad stuff is fake news right?

Careful that you dont call her any names, if you do she will retaliate by voting republican!

Trump is no saint and to infer that people think he is a saint is pretty silly

Trump was made president so that crooked female buffoon didn't get the job

Trump is the fault of the democrats putting hilary up as the candidate when she is political poison

That's hard to argue, I will have to agree, but add:

"Waaaa! they called us names!"

No, it's better to hear important stuff - good or bad.
Some activist judge taking up a looney suit that claims Trump's business renting out a ballroom is somehow a problem, is not interesting. It's pathetic.

"Activist judge" that's rich! I wonder how impartial old kavanaugh be?

How is this not an actual issue?

Here's a thought, everyone that tells you that the MSM is lieing to you is trying to control your thoughts... It's brainwashing 101! Duh!

I'm not saying that the MSM is perfect, but damn you have to start somewhere. Your media is lieing to you more than the MSM is.

Where did you get the "without seeing evidence"? Trying to make a narrative? It said right there in the article that both sides had presented their cases.

Disingenuous argument hmm? Didn't read the article did you? Reality has no meaning to you as long as your side is "winning"?
