I live in the KC area so I see alot of the KS and MO campaign ads.

This year they are letting it all out and stooping low . Both sides lol. No holds barred. Does it seem like that where you live?

Some of these dont seem like run of the mill campaign ads.

He rapes babies , well she eats babies.

I work in North Dakota.

Heidi Hietkamp voted No to Kavanaugh when 65% of ND wanted him in.

Now losing her race, she is (according to the ads) not really a Democrat, but an Independent whose campaign platform sounds a lot like a Trump conservative.

Through Schumer's superpac, she has also been playing an ad about every 10 minutes on the local radio saying that her opponent (Cramer) now wants to take away Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security.

This Halloween people gave out candy with "Vote for Heidi" printed on it.

The local DNC here pulled off a voter suppression series of ads that said that if you vote you might lose your hunting license.

It's insane, especially because there is no way now she is going to pull it off.

So yep... quite tired of it at this point.

Same in Texas, minus the governor ads. The incumbent governor runs an ad on his record (very good for the state) and the challenger I’ve yet to see an ad for (not sure what that’s about, unless she is just focusing on the urban areas, which seems rather redundant).

The sad part is that the 2020 campaign “unofficially” starts the day after mid-terms, so no real break from it whatsoever...the talking heads will continue their massive spin on all sides.

Wonder how many of the USA poor could be fed for months on the money wasted on political ads/elections...again, on all sides. Especially where there is no hope whatsoever, or a challenge at all, like where Pelosi is trying to bribe house members not even up for election this time by giving campaign money to them (to vote her in as speaker). Yeah, hubby and I have actually been laughing at the complete ridiculousness of the ads here in MI.
They are even bringing Larry Nassar into the ads.

Can't wait for this to be over.
As long as Proposal 1 passes! LOL (Legalization)

Pure Hate!

Hate campaigns. Negative campaigning should be outlawed! Right now it's legal libel and slader!

McCarthyism.

END IT!

That is all.

Funny that, because there is an ad running against one of the women candidates here, talking about Pelosi giving her money for her campaign.

I see an ad for either Tester or Rosendale (Montana) every time I watch a video on YouTube. I'm ready for whoever is going to win to win. I don't care who I just want to stop seeing the ads, it's annoying.

They say that the Democrats have spent over 80 million now on Bozo O'Rorke in Texas to defeat Cruz... LOL

Cuomo has spent idk how many millions on California.

And yes, both sides spend way too much... I'm betting a homeless Vet or two wouldn't mind the help...

I had an activist stop at my house. Was an arrogant pompous fluck.

But boy was it fun. On one hand, he is telling me that teachers need more money (I agree) and on the other hand, he is telling me that they are spending tens of millions on new campus buildings. I then asked him why tuition was going up and where the money was going. I also asked why they didn't take all that money and pay the teachers. I don't even think he knew that property taxes went to schools. He was just there to bash his boys, political opponent.

I'm so with you on that... when I go home to Montana it's just an onslaught of ads everywhere.

At this point it doesn't matter to me either... just stop the ads!!!!

I almost think there should be a rule where a person can't run for an office while in office. At least only devote 6 months to campaigns.

There is a lot of lost time in politics IMO.

Oh yeah, Beto ads 24/7 the last couple of weeks, basically using Trumps words against Cruz during GOP primary. Nothing positive. His campaign actually made the mistake of texting me for support (illegally - on do not call list). After politely thanking the volunteer for being involved in US politics, I let them have it on open borders, impeachment, and gun control, all things they have Beto on tape stating support for. Let them know I was in no hurry to turn the US into a socialism experiment any time soon. Not sure how he’s doing in the urban (gimme, gimme) centers, but in my neighborhood I walk my dogs daily...one Beto sign, about a dozen Cruz signs.

Have not seen hardly any ads on TV this year (or pretty much for a decade). I DVR everything and Fast Forward /Skip through commercials. That is the only way to watch TV shows.

How dare you sir! This is the most important midterms of our lives!

It doesn't matter nothing will really significantly change, our side has to win!

Some people may not be aware that Trump tends to tell many lies during his never ending campaigning. I suppose that technically it's not an ads, just plain old lying.
